The Redmi K70 Pro, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, was announced as part of China’s Redmi K70 series last month.
We all know how crazy flash sales can be in China and the K70 Pro has achieved incredible sales figures since its launch.
Reports indicate that more than half a million units of the device were sold within the first five minutes of its release.
As the Redmi K70 series hit the market at the beginning of December, it has now become apparent how quickly it garnered an overwhelming response from consumers.
After the first five minutes of its release, sales figures skyrocketed, surpassing 600,000 units.
This initial surge in sales was not only impressive in its own right but also held a deeper significance for the company.
This sales figure more than doubled the initial sales volume of the K70 series’ predecessor, the K60 series.
Further cementing its success, the K70 series didn’t just stop at this initial achievement.
Within the first 14 days of its launch, the series continued its remarkable sales trajectory, surpassing the one million units mark.
The K70 series became the quickest in the company’s lineup to achieve such high sales figures post-launch.
The Redmi K70 series includes the Redmi K70 Pro, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70e.
The Redmi K70 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the Redmi K70 by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and the Redmi K70e by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC.
The display on the K70 and K70 Pro is a 6.67-inch 2K OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the K70e has a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display, also with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The camera system on the K70 Pro includes a 50MP primary sensor, the K70 has a 50MP main sensor, and the K70e features a 64MP primary camera.
For battery and charging, the K70 and K70 Pro support up to 120W fast charging, and the K70e has 90W fast charging.
The series runs on Android 14-based HyperOS.
Features include in-display fingerprint sensors, Dolby Atmos, stereo speakers, and connectivity options such as 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC.
There is no confirmed release date for the Indian market, but the K70 Pro might be released in India next year under the POCO brand.
