realme has confirmed it will launch new AIoT products and smartphones in India on May 22, 2026. The lineup includes the realme Buds Air 8 Pro, realme Watch S5, and realme 16T 5G.
The company says these new products will strengthen Realme’s connected ecosystem with advanced audio, wearable, and smartphone features. The launch will highlight premium features, AI-powered tools, long battery life, and hardware aimed at young users.
The Realme Buds Air 8 Pro is a premium wireless audio product with strong noise-cancellation. Realme says the earbuds will offer up to 55dB active noise cancellation, helping users block out noise during calls, music, gaming, and travel.
The earbuds will feature dual DAC drivers and support Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification, as well as the LHDC audio codec for deeper bass, clearer sound, and richer detail. realme has also added AI call noise cancellation to deliver clearer calls in noisy places.
The Buds Air8 Pro will also support live translation in more than 30 languages through the Realme Link app and offer AI-powered question answering via Next AI.
Reports say the Buds Air 8 Pro may offer long battery life with the charging case, fast charging, a low-latency gaming mode, and Bluetooth multi-device support. The earphones can last up to 12 hours on a single charge and up to 50 hours with the case when using AAC and ANC off. With ANC on and LHDC audio active, battery life drops to about 20 hours.
realme Buds Air8 Pro is expected to come with an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. The buds are likely too come in Master Black and Master White colour options.
The Realme Watch S5 is designed for fitness tracking and long battery life. The company says it will support over 110 sports modes for tracking different activities and workouts.
A key feature of the Watch S5 is its claimed 20-day battery life, which Realme says should allow for everyday use without frequent charging. The watch is also expected to offer heart rate tracking, SpO2 monitoring, sleep analysis, smart notifications, Bluetooth calling, and water resistance.
Leaks suggest the watch may have a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466 x 466 resolution, 1,500-nit brightness, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen will also support always-on display and Smart Night Vision.
They are also likely to come up with an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance and support wet-hand touch controls. The smartwatch also includes an AI assistant, smart voice replies for supported apps, call relay, app integration, and customisable watch faces.
The Realme Watch S5 has a ceramic-textured back, a triple-button design with a rotating crown, weighs 32g, and is 11.8mm thick. It will be available in Rock Grey and Sand White.
The Realme 16T 5G will launch with the AIoT products and is aimed at the performance-focused mid-range smartphone market. Reports say it may have a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, a MediaTek or Snapdragon 5G chip, and Realme UI based on Android.
The exact details of the realme 16T 5G have yet to be announced, but it is rumoured to feature a dual or triple rear camera setup with AI features for better portrait and low-light photos. It is also expected to include a high-resolution main camera and an improved selfie camera.
Another major highlight is leaks suggesting a large 8000mAh battery paired with fast charging support for all-day usage.
There has been no official announcement regarding the prices of the three devices, but if reports are to be believed, they will compete in the mid-range and premium mid-range segments.
The devices should be available soon after launch on Realme’s website, Flipkart, and in offline stores.
