Realme has revealed the Narzo 60X smartphone in the Indian market, geared towards to the budget audience. The device has the specs to back up its claim as a new challenger in the sub Rs 15,000 market.
Let’s take a look at what the Narzo 60X has to offer in terms of pricing, features and availability.
The device has two variants on offer ie. 4GB + 128GB which will be priced at Rs 12,999 and the 6GB + 128GB that will cost Rs 14,499.
The Narzo 60X will go on sale starting from 12 September onwards on Amazon and Realme’s official website. Early users can avail Rs 1,000 off on the device.
In the design department, the slim profile of the phone is evident with its 7.89mm thickness. Offering choices to users, it is available in two colors: Stellar Green and Nebula Purple. An added design element is the right-angle bezel, adding to its ergonomic appeal.
Performance-wise, the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G Chipset powers the phone. This chipset is designed to provide a seamless 5G experience with features such as 5G Low Power Consumption Smart Hotspot Technology.
Additionally, network functionalities like Super Network Searching, Dual SA Mode, and E-game Network are there to enhance connectivity and reduce latency issues.
The 50MP AI camera stands out with its ability to offer high-resolution images, especially with its unique 50MP mode.
Night photographs have been given special attention with the Super Nightscape Mode, and for those keen on capturing urban scenes, a dedicated Street Photography Mode with three unique filters is in place.
In terms of power, the device is backed by a 5000mAh battery, ensuring longevity. What makes this even more appealing is the 33W SUPERVOOC charger that promises to get the battery to 50% within just 29 minutes.
Charging is not only fast but smart with the VCVT Intelligent Tuning Algorithm and VFC Trickle charging Algorithm.
To ensure the battery’s safety during these rapid charges, a five-core protection system, including overcharge, over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protection, has been incorporated.
For those concerned about display quality, the 6.72-inch display should impress with its FHD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400.
An added advantage is the dynamic refresh rate, which adjusts according to usage scenarios, ranging from 120Hz to 45Hz.
Lastly, addressing memory needs, the device offers dynamic RAM capabilities of up to 6GB + 6GB, ensuring multitasking remains smooth.
There’s also 128GB of internal storage on offer which is expandable to 2TB via a microSD card slot.
Realme also announced the Buds T300 for the Indian market as well, as part of their new hearable offering.
For those interested in purchasing, they are set at a price point of Rs 2,299. The Buds are designed for a comprehensive audio experience.
They are built with a 12.4mm dynamic bass driver coupled with a 360-degree spatial audio, ensuring consistent and clear sound across different music types.
One of their standout features is the 30dB active noise cancellation, which aims to minimize external disturbances for a better listening experience.
These earbuds also stand out in terms of functionality; they promise a long battery life that lasts up to 40 hours, combined with a 50ms latency that ensures synchronization between audio and video.
Additionally, they come with Intelligent Touch Control for ease of use. Aesthetically, the Realme Buds T300 have a sleek appearance and are available in two distinct colours: Black and White.
The Narzo 60X features a 50MP AI camera which is a major highlight, especially with its unique Super Nightscape Mode and Street Photography Modes. While other smartphones in this price bracket may offer similar megapixel counts, the dedicated modes and unique filters give Narzo 60X an edge in terms of camera versatility.
While exact screen-on-time can vary based on individual usage, with a 5000mAh battery, users can generally expect long-lasting performance throughout the day. The phone’s dynamic refresh rate feature, which adjusts according to usage scenarios, can also contribute to extended battery life.
The 33W SUPERVOOC charging is a standout feature for a phone in this price segment. It promises to charge the battery up to 50% within just 29 minutes, setting it apart from many competitors in the sub Rs 15,000 category.
