Chinese smartphone maker Realme is slated to launch its newest flagship, the Realme GT6, next month.
In an exclusive reveal, images of the device’s retail box have leaked, courtesy of @OnLeaks in partnership with Smartprix.
The leaked box images hint at Realme’s first handset to pack built-in AI capabilities out of the box.
The front of the box has the phone branding along with the “Next Ai” tagline.
The real details, however, pop out on the rear.
Four specific AI features are listed on the box: AI Night Vision, Smart Loop, Smart Removal, and Smart Search.
AI Night Vision is probably about enhanced low-light photography, and Smart Loop might offer something like text summarization.
Smart Removal can be used to clear an object that is unnecessary from a picture, and Smart Search sounds like an enhanced find feature.
Coming to specifications, the Realme GT6 is said to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Other features might include a “high-density” battery that could support 100W wired charging, according to leaks, though the battery capacity has not been known.
The premium flagship will come at a slightly higher price than the just-launched Realme GT 6T.
Realme has not revealed pricing yet, but improved hardware and the AI capabilities will likely hike the cost.
Design-wise, the leaked box adheres to the customarily minimalist look of Realme in black.
The name is written with bright yellow letters on the front of the box, and there’s the brand’s iconic mascot.
Though official details are scant, it appears that the Realme GT6 is the most technologically advanced smartphone from the company to date.
The inbuilt AI could be that slight bit of an edge within an otherwise already very competitive sector.
Now that we are getting closer to the June 2024 launch date, more concrete details about Realme’s AI-focused flagship should come out soon.
Please stay tuned for updates as they become available.
