Realme has teased its Realme GT Neo 5 flagship smartphone ahead of its launch on February 9th and the teaser video reveals a Nothing Phone 1-like LED lighting on the back of the smartphone.
Realme’s adaptation of back panel lighting goes one step ahead of with support for GB colour spectrum as compared to Nothing’s while LED lighting.
The GB lighting strip will illuminate what looks like the processor’s branding on the motherboard and spells out Realme’s “Dare to Leap“ tagline.
A close-up image posted by realme China CMO Xu Qi Chase shows the upper right of the rear of the phone has a transparent design, and there is a circle of RGB lights, and it also says “DARE TO LEAP”, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, SuperVOOC, NFC, and 50MP IMX890 along with 3° EOA OIS.
More images show the RGB light and the metal camera part.
The company says it uses diffuse reflection AG glass technology with a matte texture, and there are the usual dual racing stripes.
You can also see the metal frame, curved back, volume rockers on the left and the power button on the right.
The Realme GT Neo 5 teaser that has been officially released in China and re-shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav confirms the presence of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood.
The device was earlier spotted listed on the Geekbench benchmarking site using the same processor paired with 16GB of RAM and running on Android 13 mobile OS.
The teaser images also confirm the presence of a 50MP Sony IM890 3-inch EOR OIS main camera setup via branding.
The presence of an NFC and an IR Blaster is also confirmed by the lettering on the back panel of the device.
The Realme GT Neo 5 wears a shade of frosted purple.
