Realme debuted the GT Neo 3 smartphone in the Chinese market a few weeks ago. Multiple sources indicated that the smartphone will launch in India soon. Now, Realme has unveiled the smartphone for the Indian market, as well as confirming one of its key features.

Madhav Sheth, Realme Vice President, tweeted a short video of the Realme GT Neo 3, announcing that the device will be released in India soon. The video also confirms that the smartphone would have the 150W rapid charging capability that was first announced in the Chinese version.

Realme India boss Madhav did not reveal any details regarding the phone’s features, but speculation is rife that the GT Neo 3 will be a high-end device. However, the handset has already launched in China so we can expect the same specifications for its India version.

There could be a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 10-bit and HDR10+ support on the Realme GT Neo 3. Although not clear, the display is likely to support a high refresh rate.

The Realme GT Neo 3 could come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset under the hood with at least 8GB of RAM.

The cameras on the rear may include a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel second sensor, and a 2-megapixel third sensor. Up front, a 16-megapixel camera could also be there for selfies and video chat.

The Realme GT Neo 3 is expected to include a 4,500mAh battery, as well as a charger that supports the new charging technology.

150W UltraDart fast charging

The 150W UltraDart fast charging technology, which the company unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2022, could be the GT Neo 3’s selling point. According to Realme, the 150W fast charging technology will charge the battery in under 15 minutes.

Realme GT Neo 3 India launch date

Although the company has not yet revealed a launch date, we can assume that the Indian launch will take place soon. For the time being, Realme is teasing the arrival of the GT 2 Pro and GT 2 smartphones in India.
