Earlier teasers confirmed that the Realme GT 8 series will feature a 2K 144Hz “Sky Screen”, developed in collaboration with BOE. The brand has now unveiled more details about this display, highlighting several industry-first technologies.
The phones will feature a 2K 144Hz Ultra-HD display built with BOE’s Q10+ luminescent material, promising exceptional brightness and colour accuracy. The panel supports up to 4,000 nits peak brightness, along with Realme’s first 1-nit ultra-dark eye protection mode and true colour eye protection for enhanced visual comfort.
Realme has also emphasised multiple layers of eye safety including low blue light protection, circularly polarised light eye protection, and full-brightness DC dimming that ensures nearly zero flicker. The screen’s SVM value is as low as 0.07, minimising visual fatigue during extended use.
In addition, the display features Realme’s first-ever Magic Touch controller and a large R-angle straight screen design, which aims to deliver a smoother, more responsive touch experience.
