There’s been a lot of noise surrounding the Realme GT 5 Pro which is set to launch on December 7 in China.
The rumour mill is in overdrive trying to churn out as many leaks and reports about this upcoming flagship device and it seems the latest pertains to the design and display specs.
The Realme GT 5 Pro shares similarities with the Realme 11 series, featuring a hole punch display and a distinct circular-shaped camera module.
Official images released by Realme on Weibo reveal an orange-shade handset, equipped with thin bezels and a neatly arranged hole-punch display.
This design is complemented by the placement of the power button and volume keys on the right edge, contributing to the overall ergonomics of the device.
Other official reveals have shown the display specifications of the Realme GT 5 Pro to boast a curved Pro-XDR AMOLED 8T LTPO screen, delivering high-quality visuals and responsiveness.
What’s crazy is that the screen’s peak manual brightness reaches 1,000 nits but its overall peak brightness is an insane 4,500 nits.
Apart from that the display will feature a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 2,160Hz instant touch sampling rate.
Battery performance is another area revealed by Realme ahead of the launch.
The device is said to be powered by a 5,400mAh battery, supporting both 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Realme has claimed that this battery can provide up to 406 hours of standby time.
The fast charging technology is particularly notable, with the capacity to charge the battery from zero to 50 percent in just 12 minutes.
Finally leaks surrounding the Realme GT 5 Pro point that the device will harbour a 50MP 1/1.56 Sony IMX890 sensor.
This sensor is equipped with both OIS and EIS technologies, ensuring high-quality imaging performance.
The device’s India launch is not yet confirmed but knowing Realme’s reputation in the country, it should not be that far off.
