realme has expanded its audio lineup with the launch of the realme Buds Air7 in China alongside the realme Neo7 SE and Neo7x smartphones. These new earbuds come with Hi-Res Audio-certified LHDC 5.0 sound transmission offering a 96kHz sampling rate and a 1000kbps transmission rate for a high-quality listening experience.
Here’s everything we know about the new gadgets.
The realme Buds Air7 is priced at 299 yuan, which is approximately USD 41 or INR 3,600. The buds are currently available in China in Dawn Gold, Orchid Purple and Verdant Green colour options.
The Buds Air7 features 12.4mm titanium-plated drivers with a titanium-coated diaphragm for precision. It also includes an N52 neodymium magnet for deep bass and a copper SHTW voice coil ensuring fast response times and minimal distortion for clear audio across different frequencies.
Users can fine-tune their sound preferences with adjustable frequency settings for high, mid and low bands. The earbuds also support 3D Spatial Audio powered by the HRTF algorithm both of which can be customised through the realme Link app.
For noise cancellation, the Buds Air7 comes with 52dB Intelligent Deep Sea Noise Reduction 3.0, which effectively blocks background noise.
It also features AI scene-adaptive noise cancellation, which adjusts based on the surroundings, and six microphones with AI call noise reduction, ensuring crystal-clear calls.
With the charging case, the earbuds offer 52 hours of total battery life with noise cancellation off, 30 hours with ANC on and up to 13 hours on a single charge without ANC (7.5 hours with ANC on). A quick 10-minute charge gives 10 hours of playback, as per the company’s claims.
The realme Buds Air7 comes with an IP55 rating for dust and sweat resistance. It has undergone durability tests including 5,000 charging cycles, 10,000 case openings, and 96 hours of exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity.
For gamers, the earbuds offer a low latency of 45ms via Bluetooth 5.4. The Dual Device Connect 2.0 feature allows seamless switching between two devices, while Swift Pair makes it easy to connect to Windows PCs. Smart touch controls enable users to manage calls, music, and noise cancellation effortlessly, and the realme Link app provides further customisation for EQ settings and firmware updates.
