Realme will launch two new true wireless earbuds under the Realme Buds Air 5 series on August 23.
The new earbuds will debut alongside the Realme 11 and Realme 11X smartphones, the company revealed earlier this week.

The series includes Realme Buds Air 5 and Realme Buds Air 5 Pro, though they look more or less similar with an in-ear design and long stem.

The company has revealed that the Pro earbuds even feature dual drivers (an 11mm bass driver and a 6mm micro-planar tweeter) to provide balanced bass and vocals.

Similarly, the vanilla Realme Buds Air 5 earbuds carry an upgraded 12.4mm driver and support “super-fast charging capabilities.”

The company says the users can enjoy 7 hours of music playback with just a 10-minute charge.

The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro could also feature an advanced Bluetooth codec for a richer music listening experience. Apart from standard AAC and SBC codecs, there might be support for LDAC as well.

The official poster highlights the Realme Buds Air 5 with a blue case, while the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro have a glossy white case.

Apart from the Realme Buds Air 5 earbuds, we will also see the introduction of two new Realme phones. The Realme 11 and Realme 11X follow the Realme 11 Pro series.

Both the devices are expected to be priced under Rs 20,000 to rival the newly launched Redmi 12 5G series and the Samsung Galaxy M14 5G.

The Realme 11 and Realme 11X also look similar with a flat edge and round rear camera module.

The phones pack dual cameras on the back. Realme has revealed the Realme 11 features a 108-megapixel primary camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging.

Other features may include a 6.72-inch Full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
It might draw power from MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The 108-megapixel camera may be accompanied by a 2-megapixel portrait camera.

The Realme 11X is expected to offer similar features with some tweaks. It may include a 64-megapixel primary rear camera and support 33W charging.

The Realme 11X may also be much cheaper than its sibling. Both phones will likely include the charger in the box.

Realme Buds Air 5 Pro Launch Date Announced

The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro are set to launch in India on August 23, Wednesday at 12 noon. They will be announced alongside the Realme 11 smartphones. The TWS earphones are also confirmed to be available from Amazon.
