Realme has officially started the first sale of the Realme 16T in India today, May 27, at 12 PM IST. The smartphone was recently launched in the country and pre-bookings remained open until May 26. The first sale will continue until June 2 and give buyers a limited-time opportunity to avail launch offers and discounts.
The Realme 16T will be available for purchase through Flipkart, Realme.com and mainline retail stores across the country.
The Realme 16T starts at Rs. 29,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 128GB option is priced at Rs. 31,999, while the 8GB + 256GB variant carries a price tag of Rs. 34,999.
The company is offering up to Rs 3,000 instant discount through credit card EMI transactions or Rs 2,000 discount on eligible bank and UPI payments. Buyers can also avail benefits under the Rs 5,000 Buyback Program.
Existing Realme users are eligible for an additional Rs 1,000 benefit during the sale period.

The Realme 16T features a 6.8-inch LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 90.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. The panel supports 16.7 million colours and delivers up to 1,200 nits brightness. Other display features include Sun Display mode, full-brightness DC dimming, automatic and manual brightness adjustment, eye protection mode, sleep mode, dark mode, colour temperature adjustment, and app-specific refresh rate controls.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. The device runs on Android 16-based Realme UI 7 and supports features such as split-screen multitasking, floating windows, screen recording, OPPO Share, and iOS file sharing support.
It packs a massive 8,000mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC fast charging. The phone also supports bypass charging and up to 6.5W wired reverse charging.
According to Realme, the battery can offer up to three days of usage on a single charge and maintain healthy performance for up to seven years. The company also claims the device can deliver up to six years of smooth performance, while a full charge takes approximately 104 minutes.
For photography, the Realme 16T houses a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and autofocus support. It is accompanied by a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
The smartphone also features Realme’s LumaColor IMAGE Engine, which uses AI processing to improve skin tones, textures, and dynamic range in images.
The handset also includes a rear Selfie Mirror feature that allows users to preview themselves while capturing selfies using the rear camera setup. On the front, the device carries a 16-megapixel selfie camera placed inside a hole-punch display.
For audio, the Realme 16T is equipped with a 1115 ultra-linear speaker and supports 400 percent Ultra Volume mode. It also carries Hi-Res Audio certification and supports multiple Bluetooth audio codecs including SBC, AAC, LDAC, aptX, aptX HD, and LHDC 5.0.
The smartphone comes with IP69-rated dust and water resistance along with military-grade shock resistance certification. It uses Panda glass protection and ships with a pre-applied screen protector.
For thermal management, the Realme 16T includes a vapour chamber and graphite cooling system with a total heat dissipation area of 13,280 sq mm.
Security features include a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner with support for fingerprint payments on compatible platforms.
The smartphone measures 166.47 × 78.23 × 8.88mm and weighs around 224 grams.
Connectivity options on the device include 5G, VoWiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, IPv6, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and BeiDou navigation systems.
