Ptron launches low-cost audio gadget, promises up to 60 hours battery life

Hyderabad-based mobile accessories brand Ptron has launched a new neckband-style wireless earphones for gaming and entertainment. The newly launched low-cost audio gadget claims to offer up to 60 hours of playtime on a single charge and are targeted at urban youth.

The latest audio gadget called Ptron Tangent Urban is equipped with DSP Environmental Noise Cancellation Technology (ENCT). According to the company, Ptron Tangent Urban features 50ms low latency for better gaming experience, and they have been engineered with Ptron’s proprietary AptSense Technology.

The Ptron Tangent Urban earphones is available for purchase via Amazon. You need to pay Rs 799 to get the new audio product by Ptron. Ptron has launched the Tangent Urban in three colours: Fav Black, Magic Blue, and Ocean Green. The first 100 customers will get the new neckband-style for Rs. 99.

Ptron Tangent Urban specifications

Fitted with 10mm Dynamic Bass Boost drivers with TrueSonic Bass Boost Technology, the Ptron Tangent Urban earphones are water resistant and come with IPX4 rating for their magnetic locking ear-tips. The earphones feature Bluetooth v5.3 for connectivity, weigh 37 grams and have a metallic finish ABS body.

The Ptron Tangent Urban comes with a 400mAh battery which takes around two hours to be charged. For gaming and audio, the neckband-style earphones sport 50ms low latency with company’s proprietary AptSense Technology. The earphones also get DSP ENCT for noise cancellation.
