POCO could soon launch a new smartphone in India with a massive 10,000mAh battery. Tipster Sanju Choudhary @saaaanjjjuuu on X has shared key specifications of the upcoming POCO X8 Power, while also hinting that the smartphone could make its debut very soon. While there has been no official announcement yet, here’s everything we know about the upcoming POCO phone based on the recent leak.
POCO X8 Power – Expected Specifications (Leaked)
According to the latest tipster post, the POCO X8 Power will feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is also tipped to support 3,840Hz PWM dimming and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection.
The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. The tipster claims that it will be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage but the lower-end variant could reportedly use UFS 2.2 storage instead.

For photography, the POCO X8 Power is said to feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. On the front, the smartphone could get a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
However, the biggest highlight of the upcoming POCO phone is expected to be its battery. The tipster’s post revealed that the POCO X8 Power will pack a huge 10,000mAh battery. Despite the large battery capacity, the smartphone is tipped to measure just 8.68mm in thickness.
The phone is also expected to offer IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. On the software front, POCO could provide four Android OS updates along with six years of security updates.
POCO X8 Power India Launch
The latest information about the POCO X8 Power comes after earlier reports hinted at the launch of new POCO smartphones in India. Last month, tipster Yogesh Brar claimed that the launch of POCO M8 Power and POCO X8 in India is set for this quarter. The tipster had also claimed that the POCO M8 Power and POCO X8 would arrive in India as rebranded versions of the Redmi Note 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro, respectively. Anyhow, there was no word on X8 Power.
Meanwhile, Poco appears to be gearing up for the introduction of Poco X8 5G in global markets. The company has also started teasing a new X-series smartphone, suggesting that the standard Poco X8 could arrive soon.
As of now, POCO has also not officially confirmed the X8 Power or revealed its Indian launch date. More details about its launch date and pricing are expected to emerge ahead of the official announcement.
