Vivo has officially confirmed the launch date of the Vivo V80 Lite 5G in Malaysia. The smartphone has already been teased in select markets and it looks like the Malaysian version of the Vivo V80 Lite will be different from the model that is expected to launch in other markets. Here’s more on what we know so far.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G Malaysia Launch Date and Battery (Confirmed)
According to the first official teaser for the Malaysian market, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G will launch on September 3 at 7pm local time. Based on the now-viral teaser, it can be confirmed that the smartphone will be offered in two colour options such as pink and green.

The teaser also confirms that one of the biggest highlights of the Vivo V80 Lite will be a massive 10,000mAh battery. This will reportedly mark the first time Vivo has launched a smartphone with a 10,000mAh battery outside China.
Vivo has previously introduced the Vivo 600 Pro in China with an even larger 10,200mAh battery. However, that smartphone has not been released in markets outside China.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G in Malaysia – What To Expect?

As per reports, the Malaysian version of Vivo V80 Lite carries the model number V2626 as revealed by an earlier SIRIM listing.

The same model has also appeared on Geekbench, where it was listed with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, identified by the model number MT6858. The Geekbench listing also showed that the smartphone has 6GB of RAM and runs Android 16. The software is expected to feature Vivo’s OriginOS 6 interface on top.

Meanwhile, the TUV certification for the device has previously revealed support for 44W fast charging.
As mentioned above, the Vivo V80 Lite is also heading to other markets but could be different from the Malaysian model. The smartphone has appeared in the Bluetooth SIG database with model numbers V2643 and V2644. The model number V2643 has also been spotted on Geekbench featuring an unidentified chipset number MT6878, 8GB of RAM and Android 16.
More details about the phone’s international availability and pricing are expected to emerge around its launch.
