POCO has launched a new X-series smartphone – the POCO X5 5G in the Indian market. This comes after the POCO X5 Pro which was launched last month in the country.
As the name suggests, the POCO X5 5G comes with 5G connectivity and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor.
The smartphone offers a 120Hz AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The POCO X5 5G is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit. It also offers a 48MP camera setup.
Other highlights of the smartphone include support for 33W fast charging, a 13MP selfie camera, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
POCO X5 5G has been launched in India just a month after the introduction of the POCO X5 Pro 5G.
The POCO X5 5G succeeds the POCO X4 by bringing several upgrades under the hood, including a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, a 48MP primary camera sensor, and 33W fast charging support.
The phone comes with a centre-positioned punch-hole camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, and a square-shaped rear camera module that houses triple
cameras.

The POCO X5 5G will be available for purchase starting March 21 exclusively via Flipkart.

The all-new POCO X5 5G offers a 120Hz AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, 1200nits peak brightness, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 45,00,000: 1 contrast ratio, and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
The display panel on the device measures 6.67 inches (diagonally) and accommodated the front shooter inside a centered punch-hole notch. It also features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Under the hood, the latest X-series smartphone sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor that comes coupled with an integrated Adreno 619 GPU.
POCO had used the same processor on the last gen X-series smartphone – the POCO X4 Pro.
The POCO X5 5G features up to xxxGB UFS 2.2 storage and up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM.
The smartphone comes pre-loaded with Android 13 but as usual there is MIUI 1x for POCO skin on top.
Talking about the optics, the all-new POCO X5 5G offers a 48MP primary rear shooter that gets accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and an LED flash.
The X-series smartphone relies on a 13MP snapper for selfies and video calls.
