Poco has unveiled its first true wireless earbuds, dubbed Poco Pods, for the Indian market.
The earbuds will go on sale on July 29 for an introductory price of Rs 1,199 against an MRP of Rs 2,999. Similar to other Poco smartphones, the Poco Pods will go on sale on Flipkart.
The company sells a range of smartphones under Rs 20,000 in the country, hence the new earbuds are also targeted towards budget-focused customers.
The new earbuds will also be useful for Poco F4 users as the smartphone comes without an audio jack for wired earphones.

Interestingly, Poco had hinted about its first wireless earbuds as early as 2020. Former Poco India general manager C Manmohan ran a poll on Twitter in May 2020, asking fans to decide the name of the product.
At that time, many fans voted for the name, “Poco Pop Buds.” However, the launch was delayed due to “testing” issues. The earbuds are finally launching this week, three years after being officially teased.
