POCO has got into the tablet segment in India with the launch of Poco Pad 5G .
It is Xiaomi sub-brand’s first offering .
The tablet has entered the global markets .
The Indian version has the same specifications.
The tablet features include 12.1-inch display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, 8GB RAM, and 10,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
Poco Pad 5G has a flat frame with a metal unibody and two camera rings on the dual-tone back panel.
The front of the phone is surrounded by minimal bezels around the 12.1-inch screen.
The display features a 2.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits peak brightness.
The device features an immersive multimedia experience.
The POCO Pad 5G features a stylus and keyboard.
The tablet has quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and two microphones.
The tablet has an 8MP rear camera and also an 8MP front-facing selfie snapper.
The Poco Pad also comes with an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Under the hood, the POCO Pad 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor.
It packs up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The tablet is packed by a 10,000mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging.
On the software frony , it runs on Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box.
The device has Xiaomi Interconnectivity features viewing phone apps on the tablet, cross-device notes app, network sync.
The POCO Pad 5G has 5G connectivity, WiFi-6, USB-C port, Bluetooth, and GPS.
The Poco Pad 5G costs Rs 23,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant and Rs 25,999 for the 12GB RAM + 128GB variant.
The first sale of the device is scheduled for August 27 on Flipkart.

There’s also a Rs 1,000 student discount on the first sale. With the offers, the device can be purchased effectively for Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999.
