POCO has expanded its smartphone lineup with the introduction of the POCO M6 Pro 4G.
As a new addition to their budget M-series, it succeeds the POCO M4 Pro and brings a host of upgrades.
Available globally, let’s dive into what makes the POCO M6 Pro 4G stand out.
The POCO M6 Pro 4G comes in three colours: Black, Blue, and Purple.
The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at $199, while the higher-end version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs $249.
It’s been available for purchase since January 11 but will not come to the Indian shores
The POCO M6 Pro 4G sports a large 6.67-inch AMOLED screen that promises clear and vibrant visuals with its FHD+ resolution.
The high 120Hz refresh rate ensures a smooth scrolling and viewing experience, which is a significant advantage for both daily use and gaming.
For added durability, the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
A standout feature is the phone’s design, which showcases a dual-toned back panel.
The top part is a darker shade, adding a unique aesthetic twist to the phone’s appearance.
It’s not just about looks though; the phone also boasts an IP54 rating, making it resistant to dust and splashes.
The M6 Pro 4G’s camera setup includes a 64MP main camera that is supported by OIS for clear shots.
Alongside it, the 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro lenses offer additional photographic flexibility.
For selfies and video calls, there’s an 8MP camera at the front.
Under the hood, the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset powers the device, a solid choice for a budget phone.
It can be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and ample space for apps and media.
The 5,000mAh battery is another high point, providing all-day endurance.
The inclusion of 67W fast charging means less time tethered to a power outlet.
Finally, the POCO M6 Pro 4G runs on HyperOS, offering a user-friendly and efficient software experience.
