Poco M4 Pro 5G is to launch today, i.e., on November 9, 2021. The online launch event will begin at 8 PM GMT+8 (5.30 PM IST).
The global event of Poco M4 Pro 5G will be live-streamed on the official YouTube channel of the brand and its other social media handles.
In the run-up to the launch event, the company has teased the specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The phone is expected to be powered by an “ultra-fast” processor based on a 6nm chip. According to the teaser, the smartphone will have integrated dual speakers on board. The device is also confirmed to have X-axis linear motor.
According to the leaks that popped up on the Internet, the Poco M4 Pro may sport a 6.6-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display along with a 90Hz refresh rate, which is quite similar to the Redmi Note 11 series.
The latest smartphone from the house of POCO could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset. It will run MIUI based on Android 11. The upcoming phone could arrive in three models — 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. Besides, the Poco M4 Pro could pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support as per the leaks.
Talking about the optics, the Poco M4 Pro 5G might come with an AI main camera with a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For selfies and videos, it is rumored to sport a single camera setup. The hole-punch cut out on the phone’s display may house a 16-megapixel sensor.
According to some reports, the Poco M4 Pro 5G may be quite similar to the Redmi Note 11 5G, which is priced at CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs 14,000) in China. Therefore, we can expect the Poco M4 Pro 5G price in India to be somewhere around the same. However, there’s no official word on the pricing so far.
