Poco has introduced the Poco C85x 5G in India as the latest addition to its C-series smartphone lineup. The newly announced handset will be available for purchase in the country in the coming days through an e-commerce platform. The device arrives with multiple colour options and storage configurations. Here are more details.
The Poco C85x 5G starts at Rs. 10,999 in India for the base variant that includes 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The higher configuration with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 11,999.
The smartphone will go on sale in India starting March 14 at 12 pm IST via Flipkart. It will be available in three colour options, which are Black, Gold, and Green.
The Poco C85x 5G features a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1,600 pixels. The screen supports AdaptiveSync technology with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. It can reach up to 800 nits of peak brightness and carries TUV Rheinland certifications for Circadian Friendly, Low Blue Light, and Flicker Free viewing.
The handset also comes with an IP52 rating, offering protection against dust and light splashes.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Unisoc T8300 octa-core chipset, which can reach a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz. The processor is paired with a Mali G57 GPU, along with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. Users can further expand the storage by up to 2TB using a microSD card.
It is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
For photography, the Poco C85x 5G features a dual rear camera setup headlined by a 32-megapixel main camera that supports up to 10x digital zoom. The secondary rear camera has not been specified. On the front, the device includes an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone is backed by a 6,300mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to two days of usage on a single charge. It supports 15W wired charging and also offers 7.5W wired reverse charging.
Connectivity options on the device include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
The handset also comes equipped with several sensors such as a proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and an e-compass. For security, it includes a fingerprint sensor.
In terms of dimensions, the Poco C85x 5G measures 171.56 × 79.47 × 8.15 mm and weighs approximately 210 grams.
