POCO has officially announced the launch of its latest offering, the POCO C65, in India via a post on its official X account.
The POCO C65, is set to launch in the country on December 15, after having already made a global debut in the US.
Since Redmi and POCO share so much synergy in terms of branding it will come as little surprise that the POCO C65 is essentially a rebranded version of the Redmi 13C 4G.
This move aligns with POCO’s aim to expand its portfolio and presence in various global markets.
For the Indian market, the POCO C65 has been teased in a striking purple colour.
The design which is similar to its global counterpart, boasts a triple rear camera setup on the back, headlined by a 50MP primary camera.
The global price points of the Poco C65 start at $129 (about Rs 10,500) for the 6GB + 128GB variant, and $149 (about Rs 12,500) for the 8GB + 256GB version.
It’s available in Black, Blue, and Purple shades, colours that are quite likely to feature on the Indian version as well.
In terms of specifications, the POCO C65 features a 6.74-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and paired with an ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU, it offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC 5.1 inbuilt storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.
It runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14 for Poco, ensuring a smooth user experience.
As mentioned above, the rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture.
The front features an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging.
Its connectivity options include a dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, and multiple navigation systems.
It also features a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port.
