For this review, we had the Starry Gold variant and we loved the little shiny reflective colour tone with a smooth texture.

The Starry Gold design is coated with the Magnetron line.

The magnetron-sputtered high-reflection film provides texture brightness and a metallic texture.

This reflects to give a unique light effect with light.

You also don’t need to fret about fingerprints or smudges as the back panel is built to be resistant to both.

The square camera module with curved corners in the top centre of the back is neat.

There is a stainless steel frame around the camera module giving it a premium look.

The metal frame of the phone supports the structure well and looks good at the same time.

The phone is quite lightweight and the boxy frame makes it easy to hold.

Apart from the default 720P at 30fps, you also have the flexibility to choose 1080P at 30fps for video recordings.

But it turns out every positive comes with its own set of negatives for us to deal with.

Because OnePlus Nord 4’s metal design is also what makes repairing the device extra challenging.

A teardown by PBKReviews shows just how tough it is to get inside the Nord 4.

The video highlights that the metal back, which contributes to the phone’s sturdiness, is extremely difficult to remove, complicating access to the internal components.

The screen is especially tricky to replace, earning a low score of 0.5/2, similar to the score for the phone’s internal layout.

Availability of parts, battery replacement ease, and replacing other small components each scored a 1/2, leading to an overall repairability score of 4 out of 10.

Even removing the top glass cover proved challenging, despite initial success with a plastic tool.

The metal back, however, required the use of metal tools, increasing the risk of scratches or dents on the sleek aluminium surface.

While prying off the metal is the hardest part of any repair, things do get easier after that.

On the bright side, the aluminium build of the Nord 4 appears more durable than the typical glass-backed smartphones. Its Oasis Green shell resisted bending even with its slim design.

Plus, the phone’s IP65 rating means it can handle minor dust and water exposure.

Lastly, the phone’s 5,500mAh battery is housed in an adhesive pouch, making it somewhat easier to remove and replace compared to other components.

A Realme smartphone with the model number RMX5002 recently passed through China’s TENAA certification.

As tech enthusiasts online keep snooping around for such reveals, this one revealed a model number – RMX5002’s images and key specifications.

The model number is familiar for more reasons than one.

In a previous report, the same model i.e. RMX5002 was also noticed getting approval from Indonesia’s SDPPI certification platform.

Now if we do a little math combining both reports of certifications and join a few dots, it can be safely assumed that the RMX5002 listed on TENAA could be the Chinese version of the Realme 13+ 5G.

This confirmed that the device will be launched as the Realme 13+ 5G.

It is important to note that details such as its name, chipset, and fast-charging capabilities were not mentioned in the TENNA certification.

The device, however, has also been spotted in Geekbench and TUV Rheinland Japan’s databases, providing more information about its chipset and charging specs.
