These insights provide valuable data such as the number of views and reposts, as well as demographic information about followers, including their age, gender, and location.
“We want Threads to be a place that inspires conversations and helps people, businesses and creators connect around their interests. Since launch, we’ve been consistently evolving Threads to address the biggest pain points people face, working to get you relevant posts in real-time and empower you to share your best content,” Meta said in the blog post.
The last Threads update for creators and businesses was during the Threads API launched in June this year.
It enabled creators and businesses to manage their presence at scale and easily share engaging content using third-party applications.
All new features including drafts, post scheduling and insights are now being rolled out to Threads users on the web only.
According to Meta, these features will be available on the mobile version of the app in the future.

A new leak suggests the iPhone 16 Pro will come in four colours.
New colours will include a new bronze shade, replacing the Blue Titanium option from the iPhone 15 Pro lineup.
The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch display, both larger than their predecessors.
The rumours that Apple is replacing the Blue Titanium colour variant with this new bronze-like colour for the iPhone 16 Pro have been doing rounds for some time.
Leaked images of dummy models of iPhone 16 Pro revealing four colour variants.
While some reports had speculated about a rose or gold colour as well, the latest leaked images of dummy iPhone 16 Pro models suggest that the new option is more of a bronze than rose gold.
A new image shared by insider Sonny Dickson on X (Previously Twitter) reveals the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro in four colours.

This marks a change from the current iPhone 15 Pro lineup, which features Natural Titanium, Blue Titanium, White Titanium, and Black Titanium.
This bronze colour, which is almost leaning towards a brown or dark khaki shade, might disappoint those iPhone fans who were hoping for a gold finish.
The demand for a gold finish in the iPhone 16 series gained momentum since the iPhone 15 lineup was the first since the iPhone XS to not include a gold variant.
The leaked image also highlights that the Black Titanium colour on the iPhone 16 Pro will be noticeably darker than that of the iPhone 15 Pro.
However, it’s important to note that these images are of dummy units, so the final colour could still change as Apple fine-tunes its design.
Dickson last month also revealed the colour options for the non-Pro iPhone 16 models in a Post on X.
Previously leaked images of iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus dummy phones revealing five new colour variants.
Earlier, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to be available in black, white or silver, grey or “Natural Titanium,” and rose colours.
Mirroring Kuo’s prediction, a Weibo source also claimed in March this year that the iPhone 16 Pro lineup will have a new “rose” titanium colour.

It is important to note that there is no update on the official colour names that Apple might use.
iPhone 16 Pro series rumours – What We Know So Far
iPhone 16 Pro series rumours
In addition to the colour changes, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to come with a larger 6.3-inch display, an upgrade from the 6.1-inch screen on the iPhone 15 Pro.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max will also see a size increase, featuring a 6.9-inch display compared to the 6.7-inch screen on its predecessor.
Both models are rumoured to include a Tetraprism periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, an ultra-wide camera with a 48MP sensor, and could be powered by the A18 Pro processor, utilizing TSMC’s advanced 3nm technology.
While these details are exciting, it’s wise to take them with a grain of salt until Apple makes an official announcement.
The next-generation iPhone 16 lineup is due to arrive around mid-September 2024.
Chance Miller for 9to5Mac:
If [this] rumor is to be believed, the new iPhone 16 Pro color option will resemble more of a bronze shade than “rose” or gold, like has also been previously rumored.
However, this does align with one report from a few weeks ago, which said the rumored fourth iPhone 16 Pro color would feature a “bronze-like color.”
The color is closer to a brown or dark khaki color than it is to a shade of gold, which could come as a disappointment to some iPhone buyers.
Notably, the iPhone 15 lineup was the first to not include a gold finish since the iPhone XS in 2018.

Google has addressed connectivity and battery issues.
Introducing the Exynos Modem 5400 in the Pixel 9 series, offering better performance and efficiency.
The new modem provides faster peak downlink speeds and improved connectivity, including satellite support.
No Qi2 Charging: The Pixel 9 series does not support Qi2 wireless charging.
Google reveals the easy availability of the Qi1 protocol and the lack of tangible benefits from Qi2.
Google has finally addressed one of the major issues with Google’s Tensor-powered Pixel phones and made a big leap with a brand-new modem in the Pixel 9 series.
The issue started as early as with the Pixel 6 series phones, which were notorious for their unreliable connectivity and poor battery life.
While later models improved on reception, it is the Pixel 9 series where we finally getting a concrete advancement.
Using the Device Info HW app, Android Authority has confirmed that the standard Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold are all powered by the new Exynos Modem 5400.
Credit – Android Authority
The above screenshot from the standard Pixel 9 shows the baseband section listing a “g5400c” part number, which matches the Exynos Modem 5400.
For comparison, the Pixel 7 Pro used a “g5300q” part number, indicating the older Exynos Modem 5300.
This isn’t the first time we have read reports on the Pixel 9 series using the Exynos Modem 5400.
This information was first leaked back in April.
However, it’s exciting to see this part confirmed in a real-world Pixel phone.
Google’s switch to the new modem follows its appearance in Exynos-powered Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus models earlier in January.
The Exynos Modem 5400 is a significant upgrade from the Exynos Modem 5300, offering Release 17 connectivity that enables satellite support for the Pixel 9 series.
Manufacturer Samsung also claims that this new modem is more efficient, which should lead to better battery life in the new Pixel phones.
In terms of performance, Samsung says the Exynos Modem 5400 delivers faster peak downlink speeds (14.79Gbps compared to 10Gbps) and improved speeds using the FR1 frequency band.
Altogether, this suggests that the Pixel 9 series should provide faster and more efficient cellular connectivity than previous models.
No Qi2 Charging for Pixel 9 Phones, Here’s Why
Google reveals the easy availability of the Qi1 protocol and the lack of tangible benefits from Qi2.
To make sure our readers understand why this question of having Qi2 charging arises, we have to look back a bit.
The Qi2 technology was announced in early 2023.
It is highly likely the same was shared with phone manufacturers before that the official announcement and we are currently in the second quarter of 2024.
Now that is a considerable amount of time for any phone manufacturer to adapt a new technology, test it and integrate it into their latest devices.
Still, to the whole tech community’s surprise, many latest smartphones have missed this opportunity when it comes to adopting Qi2 wireless charging.
From last year’s Pixel 8 and Samsung Galaxy S24 seriesto flagship phones from OnePlus, OPPO, Vivo, Realme, Nothing and the latest Samsung Galaxy Z foldable, none offered Qi2 wireless charging.
And now the new Google Pixel 9 series has joined suits and has been announced without Qi2 wireless charging.
However, with Pixel 9, we finally have a response from manufacturers.
In a recent Android Authority story, it is revealed that Google has responded to their question on why it chose not to adopt Qi2 charging.
The independent online publication mentions, “We asked Google about the decision to skip Qi2, and the answer, paraphrased, was that the older Qi protocol was more readily available on the market and that there are no tangible benefits to switching to Qi2.”
To be clear, the Pixel 9 series, including the Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL, all charge wirelessly over the older Qi protocol.
This indicates these phones will get a maximum 10W wireless charging speed and no magnets.

Apple is developing a tabletop robot with an iPad-like display and a robotic arm.
The device will feature a large screen that can tilt and rotate 360 degrees, controlled by Siri and Apple Intelligence features.
Codenamed J595, the project is now being fast-tracked, with a potential launch in 2026 or 2027.
Expected to be priced around $1,000.
Apple is reportedly making significant strides in personal robotics and their latest project could be a game-changer.
According to a new report by Bloomberg, the tech giant is moving forward with the development of a tabletop robot.
It interestingly marks a new direction for the company as it is admittedly on a journey to explore new revenue opportunities.
Here’s everything we know about this project.
Is Apple Working on Robotic smart screen? (Photo by BoliviaInteligente on Unsplash)
This new device is expected to combine an iPad-like display with a robotic arm, according to trusted Apple insider Mark Gurman from Bloomberg.
Apple aims to develop a high-end home device that features a large screen attached to a slim robotic arm.
This setup would allow the display to tilt and rotate 360 degrees using actuators.
The product design would offer a unique twist on many similar products we can see in the market today like Amazon’s Echo Show 10 or the Meta’s now-discontinued Portal.
The device is rumoured to serve as an all-in-one smart home hub, video conferencing system, and remote-controlled security device.

Gurman in his Bloomberg report mentions, “The company now has a team of several hundred people working on the device, which uses a thin robotic arm to move around a large screen, according to people with knowledge of the matter. The product, which relies on actuators to tilt the display up and down and make it spin 360 degrees […] is envisioned as a smart home command centre, videoconferencing machine and remote-controlled home security tool.”
Sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to Bloomberg, revealed that this project—codenamed J595—was approved by Apple’s executive team back in 2022.
However, it was only recently that the company’s creative core picked up speed.
Apple planning on venturing out to such a device shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.
The idea behind this tabletop robot is very clearly to use Siri and upcoming Apple Intelligence features as the primary control system.
For instance, during a video call, you could simply say, “Look at me,” and the screen would automatically adjust to focus on you.
It’s also expected to recognize different voices and shift its focus accordingly.
The report further suggests that the prototypes are being tested and are reportedly running a modified version of iPadOS.
A spokesperson for Apple declined to comment.
Doesn’t Apple Already Sell Robotic Smart Screen?
DockKit is already in use with the Insta360 Flow Pro gimbal
We have to be honest, once a 9to5Mac report highlighted in their recent story, the concept of Apple’s rumoured Tabletop Robot Smart Screen quickly seemed familiar.
The company already offers a similar product, which is powered by a feature introduced in iOS 17 called DockKit.
Last year, with the release of iOS 17, Apple launched DockKit, a feature designed to add smart capabilities to certain iPhone accessories.
Here’s what Apple says about DockKit: “DockKit interfaces with DockKit-compatible motorized stands known as dock accessories to track the location of objects that appear in video frames. It determines how to best position the iPhone camera to frame and track objects, with improved person tracking using combined body and face tracking for human subjects. This feature, known as system tracking, automatically starts as soon as a person docks the iPhone onto a compatible motorized stand and launches the Camera app.”
In simple terms, DockKit allows iPhone accessories like stands or gimbals to automatically move and track subjects using the iPhone’s camera system.
This functionality is quite similar to what the rumoured ‘robotic smart screen’ from Apple is expected to do.
DockKit is already in use with the Insta360 Flow Pro gimbal, which is a great option if you’re into iPhone videography.
However, the DockKit accessory that most closely aligns with Apple’s rumoured future home device is the motorized Belkin iPhone stand. This one is also designed for tabletop use.
Belkin’s Auto-Tracking Stand Pro offers the same features as the yet-to-be-released Apple smart home device.
Belkin’s Auto-Tracking Stand Pro features:
360° face, body, and movement tracking
Motorized 90° auto-tilt for automatic video angle adjustments
Compatibility with FaceTime and other popular video conferencing apps
A single button to activate and deactivate tracking
15W MagSafe wireless charging with a power supply plug-in
5-hour rechargeable batteries for use without a power supply plug-in
To be more precise, all you need is an iPhone and a Belkkin’s stand to build your tabletop robotic screen. Pairing your iPhone with Belkin’s stand will combine an iPhone display with a robotic swivelling stand.
Belkin’s Auto-Tracking Stand Pro is currently available at Apple stores.
Is Apple Fast Tracking the Tabletop Robot Project?
Apple To Enter Tabletop Robotic Smart Screen Era in Search of New Revenue
Apple’s move into robotics is part of a broader strategy to boost sales and capitalize on its upcoming Apple Intelligence features.
As of now, the Apple Intelligence features are set to roll out to iPhone, iPad, and Mac starting this year.
The Bloomberg report further suggests the development of this tabletop robot is reportedly being fast-tracked.
The Cupertino giant is on track with a potential launch window as early as 2026 or 2027.
Apple is aiming to price the device around $1,000, although with several years before its release, these plans could still change.
The project is now under the leadership of Kevin Lynch, a seasoned executive who previously headed Apple’s self-driving car initiative and Apple Watch software development.
To recall, this initiative follows Apple’s decision to halt its self-driving car project earlier this year.
It was widely speculated that the company will have to explore new growth avenues after shutting doors on one of the most ambitious projects.
It was previously reported that Apple’s industrial design team has been delving into tabletop robotic concepts for years.
However, there was no consensus within the company.
The opposition was particularly among the software engineering and marketing teams, on whether to proceed or not.
The marketing group expressed concerns about consumer willingness to pay for such a product.
Meanwhile, top software engineering executives worried about the staffing resources needed to develop the necessary software.
Despite these concerns, Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook and John Ternus, the head of hardware engineering, are seen as strong advocates for the device.
