Tecno Pova 6 Neo 5G has an attractive design. We had the Midnight Shadow variant for this review and it looks great.
The phone has a boxy body with round corners. The edges are neither too sharp nor curved, which makes the phone easy to hold.
It is also extremely lightweight and has a slim form. All things that eventually add to the comfort you would feel using the phone for long hours.
The almost glittery matt finish of the plastic back panel is attractive. It doesn’t attract fingerprints, which is great. We used it the entire time without any back cover, and was as good as new.
The camera module with a glass cover adds an interesting touch to the overall design.

The Tecno Pova 6 Neo 5G comes with decent that supports everyday tasks smoothly. The 6.67-inchpunch-hole screen feels large enough. While the resolution isn’t the sharpest around, it still delivers decent clarity, especially for everyday use.
The high refresh rate is an advantage. It makes everything smooth – from casual browsing to intense gaming sessions. We responsiveness of the display is noticeable.
While it comes with a decent screen-to-body ratio, we noticed that the bezels seem a lot wider than expected, especially at the bottom of the screen.
Anyhow, the display is good for watching videos or casual streaming.
As for brightness, the phone holds up well in almost every surrounding condition. Not under direct sunlight though, you can expect decent performance outdoors otherwise.
Overall, it’s a pretty solid display for a phone in this price range.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chip, the Pova 6 Neo is a pretty good smartphone for everyday tasks.
We didn’t experience any slowing down or lags in regular tasks. Even when multitasking between apps, it can handle the load well.
However, you can’t expect too much heavy lifting from this phone. You can play games but do not expect a smooth experience in graphic-heavy games. It’s not a flagship chip, but the phone can handle casual gaming with ease and without stuttering too much.
We tried playing BGMI and while it was smooth initially for a few minutes, the phone started heating up soon after. Frame drops were also noticeable too while the sharpness in visuals was missing. So, we suggest that you stick to casual gaming when it comes to this phone.
We tested the phone on multiple benchmarks and it did perform decently well.
The AnTuTu score of the phone came close to 463K and the rest of the benchmark results are below for your reference.

Country to be cyber secured in three new criminal laws
Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced fournew initiatives to prevent cybercrime in India while addressing the first Foundation Day celebration of the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C).
“Without cybersecurity, the development of the nation is impossible at this point. Technology is a blessing to humanity. Technology is being used to a great extent to boost the economy but at the same time, we are also seeing many threats because of technology. Cybersecurity has become an important part of national security. We won’t be able to secure our nation without cyber security. Platforms like I4C can play a key role in this,” Amit Shah said. Shah highlighted the need for a national-level suspect registry that includes all states to prevent future crimes. He announced that I4C would launch a nationwide awareness campaign starting from September 10th, utilizing various channels such as FM radio and other platforms. “The more popular the ‘1930’ number becomes, the more effective it will be. On this occasion, I will also appeal to all state governments to join this campaign,” he added.
The Cyber Fraud Mitigation Centre (CFMC) and the Samanvay platform (Joint Cyber Crime Investigation Facility System) were also launched during the event.

New Initiatives Launched to Curb Cybercrime in India
There are plans to train 5,000 cyber commandos in the next five years to fight cybercrime in the country.
Cyber Fraud Mitigation Centre (CFMC): Established at the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (14C) in New Delhi with representatives of major banks, Financial Intermediaries, Payment Aggregators, Telecom Service Providers, IT Intermediaries and States/UTs Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs). They will work together for immediate action and seamless cooperation to tackle online financial crimes.
Samanvay Platform (Joint Cybercrime Investigation Facilitation System): A one-stop portal for data repository of cybercrime, data sharing, crime mapping, data analytics, cooperation and coordination platform for Law Enforcement Agencies across the country.
Cyber Commandos’ Program: Will establish a special wing of trained 5,000 ‘Cyber Commandos’ in States/UTs and Central Police Organizations (CPOs) to counter cyber security threats. Trained Cyber Commandos will work with States/UTs and Central Agencies to keep the digital space secure.
Suspect Registry: A registry of various identifiers will be created based on the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (NCRP). This will be a collaboration with banks and financial intermediaries to strengthen fraud risk management capabilities.

Shri Shah said that with all these efforts we have definitely reached a point but our goals are still far away. He said that to achieve the goal, we will have to make a precise strategy and move forward together in the same direction.
Launched on the initiative of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi under the Secured Cyber Space campaign, I4C today is a strong pillar country’s cyber security.
I4C was established under the ‘Safe Cyber Space’ campaign in 2015 on the initiative of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

We had the Turbo Green colour variant for this review and it is something that we never go unnoticed in your hands. The phone is lightweight and slim, which adds to the overall ease of handling. This is also a plus for gamers to get a comfortable gaming experience.
The back of the phone is shiny and changes colour when tilted in different directions. The finish is smooth. We especially loved the camera module, which is both neat and not intruding at all. The steel frame around the camera phone looks stylish.
It comes with something called 2.8D equal-depth micro-curve design. This gives the back cover of the phone curved edges that merge with the middle frame smoothly.
It comes with an IP65 rating, so you can wave off some worry for dust & water splashes.
Overall, we loved the design of the phone. As for colour options, in case the Turbo Green is not something you instantly like, Realme is also releasing Turbo Yellow and Turbo Purple colours that are worth checking out.

The 6.67-inch Samsung E4 OLED screen is impressive. It is perfect for everything from gaming to streaming videos. The first thing we noticed about the display is its rather narrow bezels. The uniformly narrow bezels add to the immersive experience.
This Realme phone comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is understandable since we saw the marketing of the phone was around its gaming capability. This makes the phone incredibly smooth. We didn’t face any issues with regular scrolling and swiping.
The phone handles outside brightness well too. With 600 nits for everyday use and up to 1200 nits in High Brightness Mode. We tried using this under direct sunlight and it performed satisfactorily.
The colour reproduction is fantastic though. With 16.7 million colours and a 106% NTSC colour gamut, it brings everything to life. Again an advantage for gamers.
The Pro-XDR display technology also enhances the visual quality. It makes images and videos look more detailed.
As for durability, the screen is protected by AG DT Star 2 glass and has a Protective Film Touch.
It has an in-display fingerprint sensor. We found that to be working smoothly.

And then the dynamic RAM — it’s a whopping 26GB (12GB physical + 14GB virtual).
This setup, backed by the advanced DRE technology, lets you keep up with multitasking. The brand claims you can keep 32 apps and 7 games running in the background without any lag or slowdown. In our experience, we tried to open multiple apps and play two games in intervals. The phone was able to handle it while maintaining responsiveness.
App launches and switching between tasks never seemed to be a problem to us.
Plus, with UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR4 RAM, everything feels quick, from loading apps to saving files.
