The smartwatch is expected to debut at Samsung’s Unpacked event in July, alongside the brand’s upcoming foldables. Here’s what we know so far.

Netflix is giving its homepage a major redesign and it’s set to change how you browse, discover, and choose what to watch. While Netflix has made small tweaks to its interface before, this is the first big shake-up in a long time and is now touted as the biggest UI redesign for the platform in years.

The company says this fresh new look will roll out over the next weeks and months, offering a more streamlined and user-friendly experience.

In a press preview, Netflix’s Chief Product Officer Eunice Kim and Chief Technology Officer Elizabeth Stone described the update as more flexible and better aligned with how people actually use the platform today. Navigation is being simplified, title info will be easier to see and recommendations will adapt more closely to your preferences and mood.

“The new Netflix TV experience is still the one you know and love — just better,” said Kim.

Leaks have revealed nearly everything about the device. The Galaxy S25 Edge is said to be 5.85mm thick featuring a titanium frame with glass on both the front and back. It’s expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with high resolution and a fast refresh rate.

For cameras, it’s now confirmed the phone will include a 200MP main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field of view.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to come in three colour options including Titanium Jet Black, Titanium Icy Blue and Titanium Silver.

Google has started rolling out the May 2025 software update for its Pixel smartphones. This new update brings several bug fixes, security improvements and even patches a zero-day vulnerability that might have already been used in real-world attacks.

May 2025 Pixel Update – What’s New?

According to Google’s support page, the update addresses a number of issues users may have faced on their Pixel devices:

  • Fixes microphone recording issues that caused poor audio quality in certain apps.
  • Resolves Bluetooth pairing problems that occurred with some smartwatches under specific conditions.
  • Corrects secondary language display errors in the quick settings menu.

Reliance Jio has put its express SIM card home delivery plans on hold after the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) flagged security concerns. According to a report by Economic Times, the move comes shortly after the DoT objected to a similar service launched by Airtel in partnership with Blinkit.

Jio Was Set to Begin Deliveries on April 25

Jio had written to DoT Secretary Neeraj Mittal on April 16, outlining plans to kick off home delivery of SIM cards starting April 25. The idea was to speed up the onboarding process, much like Airtel’s 10-minute delivery model.

Airtel had teamed up with Blinkit to deliver SIM cards in just 10 minutes, charging a Rs 49 convenience fee. But the DoT stepped in saying that delivering SIMs before completing customer verification posed a national security risk.

DoT Now Mandates Full KYC Before Delivery

Following this, the DoT issued a directive requiring all telecom operators to complete Aadhaar-based self-KYC before handing over a SIM card to any customer. This step was taken in light of recent terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, to tighten security.

With the new rule in place, Jio has abandoned its initial rollout of the fast-track delivery service. The company hasn’t said whether it will bring the plan back under a new model that meets DoT guidelines.

Sources say Airtel is now reworking its own SIM delivery process. While it still wants to offer doorstep delivery, it will likely take longer due to the added step of verifying customer identity beforehand.

Meanwhile, industry experts believe that quick SIM deliveries could help telecom companies attract more users, especially as they scale up 5G networks and look for new revenue opportunities.

Rohan Dhamija, head of India and the Middle East at Analysys Mason, also commented on the issue saying that it is completely understandable why the government would insist on verification before SIM delivery after the recent developments in Jammu and Kashmir.

Vivo is getting ready to bring a new flagship phone to India soon. While many thought it would be the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, which launched in China in October 2024, a recent report says India will actually get a different model called the Vivo X200 FE. This version will sit below the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro in terms of pricing and specs. Here’s what we know so far.

According to a report from SmartPrix, the Vivo X200 FE is expected to launch in July. It will be available in two variants, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage.

In terms of pricing, the phone could fall in the Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 range.
