Oppo Reno 8 Pro India launch likely in June, check rumoured specifications

Smartphone maker Oppo is reportedly planning to introduce its Reno 8 series in India soon. According to reports, the Oppo is expected to launch its Oppo Reno 8 series in India next month. This development has come soon after the launch of Reno Reno 8 series, consisting of vanilla Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Pro+ smartphones, in the Chinese market.

Rumours also claim that the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ will not be part of India launch of the Reno series. If report is to be believed then Oppo Reno 8 Pro will have the specifications of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ and the Chinese version of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro will reportedly debut in India as the vanilla Oppo Reno 8.

It is claimed that Oppo Reno 8 Pro smartphone will be made available in 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB storage variants and in three colour options, Glazed Black, Glazed Green, and Glazed White in India. The launch is expected to take place in mid-June.

Talking about the price of the rumoured Oppo smartphone, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro is expected to be available under Rs.40,000 price bracket for the 12GB storage variant.

The Reno 8 Pro is said to pack the same configuration as the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ and the vanilla Reno 8 as Oppo Reno 8 Pro in India.

The Oppo Reno 8 Pro is rumoured to come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC. The vanilla Reno 8, on the other hand, may feature a 6.62-inch Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display that will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset.

The Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Pro+ smartphones, launched in China earlier this week, are similarly designed. All the smartphones have a triple rear camera setup including a 50-megapixel sensor, and 80W fast charging technology.

The OPPOF21Pro series featuring industry-first fiberglass-leather design and flagship Sony IMX709 ultra-sensing selfie sensor is the latest smartphone by OPPO in India. Available in 8GB+ 128GB variant, OPPO F21 Pro series 5G, the smartphone carries an actual price tag of Rs 27,999.

Launched on April 12, Oppo F21 available in two colors including Cosmic Black and Sunset Orange. The OPPO F21 Pro series comes with a snapdragon octa-core processor, to offer a breath-taking viewing experience, the OPPO F21 Pro Series has AMOLED eye-care display.
