Following a series of leaks and speculations, Oppo has finally launched the much-awaited Oppo Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro 5G smartphones in India. The all-new smartphones come with an AMOLED display with a high refresh rate support and feature triple-cameras on the back. These phones are said to compete against the likes of Vivo V23 Pro, Xiaomi 11T Pro, and OnePlus 9RT.
Oppo Reno 7 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs 39,999 for 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It comes in two colour options – Startrails Blue and Starlight Black. The handset will go on sale from February 8 via Flipkart, Oppo e-store and other retail channels. On the other hand, Oppo Reno 7 is priced at Rs 28,999. It has a single 8GB + 256GB storage configuration and comes in two colour variants – Startrails Blue and Starlight Black. It goes on sale starting February 17.
The Oppo Reno 7 Pro smartphone boasts a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It features a hole-punch camera cutout for the 32MP Sony IMX709 front camera. On the rear, the device comes with a triple-camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The smartphone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor, while the camera module on the rear side is surrounded by a ringed LED that can be customised for notifications.
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The handset houses a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. It comes with ColorOS 12 based on Android 11.
The basic Reno 7 features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has the same front and back cameras as the Pro variant, however the main rear camera here features a 64MP sensor. It ships with a Dimensity 900 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support, similar to its Pro counterpart.
