Oppo’s upcoming Reno 10 series of smartphones have been the talk of the town and yet another hardware detail has now come to light.

The OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ might get the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship chipset to deliver processing power to the device, as tipped by tipster Digital Chat Station.

The device could be equipped with the top-spec 64-bit octa-core processor for flagship-grade performance, and is expected to be launched in April or May 2023.

OPPO Reno 10 Pro+

OPPO is prepping up for the launch of the OPPO Reno 9 series successor in the form of the OPPO Reno 10 lineup.

Similar to the Reno 9 series, the upcoming Reno 10 lineup is expected to include three devices namely the OPPO Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and the Reno 10 Prot.

Last month the Reno 10 series specifications were revealed by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo.

The tipster also disclosed the camera details of the Reno 10 Prot. Now, in a recent development, Digital Chat Station has revealed the name of the chipset which will power the Reno 10 Pro.

OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ Chipset Tipped

OPPO Reno 10 Pro+

The device will consist of three models OPPO Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro and the Reno 10 Pro+. The top-of-the-line OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ has been tipped to get the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

The speculations also suggest that the octa-core processor will be paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS 3.1 storage system.

The device will run on a version of ColorOS based on Android 13 mobile OS.

OPPO Reno 10 Series Design

OPPO Reno 10 Pro+

In the recent past, the schematics of the OPPO Reno 10 series smartphones have also been leaked by Digital Chat Station. The design drawings belong to OPPO PHW110 and PHU110 smartphones.

For reference, the PHU110 is rumoured to be the more kitted-out smartphone and will benefit from better specifications.

Digital Chat Station suggests that the OPPO PHW110 smartphone will get a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 2412 × 1080 pixels resolution.

On the other hand, the OPPO PHU110 smartphone will get a 6.74-inch display with the same FHD+ resolution. Both devices will use curved OLED display technology.

A hole punch cutout will be positioned on the top centre of the display to accommodate the front-facing camera.

The schematics of the device showcase the back panel design. Both devices get an elliptical camera housing which accommodates the camera panel and a pill-shaped LED flash.

Interestingly, the MariSilicon X chip branding could indicate that the devices could be the OPPO Reno 10 Pro.

The third camera module too will differ for both devices. The OPPO PHW110 is likely to get a 2x telephoto lens while the OPPO PHU110 is expected to get a periscope zoom.

These phones could be launched as the OPPO Reno 10 Pro and OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ respectively.
