OPPO Pad 2 specifications have been revealed ahead of its launch and highlight the upgrades it will bring over its predecessor. A new leak that has surfaced on Weibo (via. TechGoing) has revealed key information on its display, battery, and charging capabilities.
The OPPO Pad 2, according to tipster Digital Chat Station, will see upgrades in the form of a bigger screen, bigger battery and support for faster charging.

The OPPO Pad 2 will look similar to the OnePlus Pad and could also be rebranded version of the same. The OPPO Pad 2 will be a new mid-premium Android tablet. OPPO Pad 2 along with the OPPO Watch 3 would debut in India by March or early April 2023. The OPPO Pad 2 will be priced at around Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000.

Oppo Pad 2: Expected Launch Date and Availability

Oppo is expected to announce the company’s next flagship tablet — the Oppo Pad 2 along with the Oppo Find X6 series which may launch in February in China. The Oppo Find X6 series will include the — Oppo Find X6, X6 Pro, and X6 Pro Dimensity Edition. Last year’s original Oppo Pad was priced at 2,299 Yuan (nearly Rs 28,000). The Oppo Pad 2 is also expected to carry a similar price tag.

The OPPO Pad 2 will reportedly get a display larger than 11-inch as compared to the 11-inch display screen on the previous generation OPPOPad. The new display panel will boast a resolution of 2800 × 2000 pixels and will support 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and HDR10+.

The OPPO Pad 2 will sip juice from a larger 9500mAh battery under the hood and will support 67W fast charging. The OPPO Pad first generation had an 8360mAh battery and 33Wfast charging support.

Digital Chat Station had earlier reported that the OPPO Pad 2 will get a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC which will be paired to 8GB or 12GB of RAM. The OPPO Pad 2 is likely to use the ColorS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.

The OnePlus Pad will be launched in India on February 7th alongside the OnePlus 11 5G,
OnePlus 11R 5G and the OnePlus Q series TV. There is a possibility that Oppo may announce the Oppo Find X6, X6 Pro, and X6 Pro Dimensity Edition in February in China. The same event could see the arrival of the Oppo Pad 2. The original Oppo Pad was priced at 2,299 Yuan ($340) at launch. A similar price can be expected for its successor.
