According to the leak, the Find X9 Ultra is still in the prototype stage, but it’s shaping up to be a big leap forward, especially in terms of camera hardware. The phone is rumoured to come with a 200MP main camera with a large sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.
It will also feature a second 200MP periscope telephoto lens that also supports macro photography and another 50MP “super periscope” camera with rumoured support for 10x optical zoom.
If these details are accurate, the X9 Ultra could become one of the most powerful camera phones on the market.
The leak also mentions model number SM8850, which is expected to be Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip.
This matches earlier reports suggesting that while the standard Find X9, X9+, and X9 Pro models could launch in October with MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chips, the Ultra model might arrive later, possibly in early 2026 with Qualcomm’s flagship SoC.
Aside from the camera, the Find X9 Ultra is also rumoured to have a 6.82-inch flat OLED display with 2K+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the software side, it’s expected to run ColorOS 16, based on Android 15. Oppo will likely unveil the new software in Q3 2025.
There’s no information yet on the battery size or charging details, but based on Oppo’s track record, it’s expected to follow current trends in fast charging and battery capacity.
More leaks and official details should start surfacing in the coming months.
