Oppo is all set to unveil its next-generation flagship lineup on April 21 including the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and the Oppo Find X9s Pro. Ahead of the official debut, the company has shared key details about both devices highlighting a strong focus on camera innovation and compact flagship design. Notably, Oppo has confirmed a major upgrade to its Hasselblad Master Mode for the Find X9 Ultra.
As per teaser images shared on Oppo’s official Weibo account, the Find X9s Pro features a compact form factor with a 6.3-inch U9 Pro display and ultra-slim 1.1mm uniform bezels. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate and can go as low as 1 nit brightness for comfortable low-light viewing. It also carries TÜV Rheinland eye-care certification.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset and will be available in four memory configurations including 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 512GB storage, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage and 16GB RAM with 1TB storage.
The device packs a 7,025mAh silicon-carbon battery similar to the standard Find X9 and supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. It also boasts IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for enhanced dust and water resistance.
In terms of optics, previous leaks suggest the Find X9s Pro will feature a triple rear camera setup including a 200MP primary sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.
The phone will be offered in Free White, Natural Titanium, Energetic Orange and Wind Blue colour options.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is being positioned as a true “camera in your pocket” aiming to deliver professional-grade photography. It introduces RAW MAX and JPEG MAX formats across six focal lengths like 14mm, 23mm, 46mm, 70mm, 140mm, and 230mm bridging the gap between smartphones and dedicated cameras.
The upgraded Hasselblad Master Mode 2.0 focuses on creative flexibility and offers an ultra-high dynamic range of up to 16EV. A key highlight is the inclusion of native film styles directly within the camera system. Users can shoot with classic looks such as Portra, 800T, TX400, and XPAN wide-format modes without requiring post-processing.
For advanced users, the camera system provides extensive manual controls along with AI-powered “film presents” enabling users to save up to 20 custom presets for quick access.
The Find X9 Ultra packs a powerful quad-camera setup. It includes a 200MP primary sensor using the Sony LYT-901 (1/1.12-inch, f/1.5, 23mm) paired with a 200MP 3x periscope telephoto lens based on the OmniVision OV52A (1/1.28-inch, f/2.2, 70mm).
