Breaking away from the traditional launch timelines, OPPO is charting a unique path with its upcoming Find X7 series.
Slated for an early release in 2024, the Find X7 and X7 Pro are expected to make their debut before the Chinese Spring Festival, indicating a shift in OPPO’s strategy to stay ahead in the competitive smartphone market.
Insider sources point to a launch window for the Find X7 series around the end of January or early February 2024.
This timing places the release ahead of the Chinese Spring Festival, scheduled from February 10 to February 17.
This early release strategy follows a growing trend among Chinese smartphone manufacturers to unveil new flagships earlier in the year.
For reference, OPPO launched the Find X6 series in March 2023, making the upcoming launch a significant advancement in their annual cycle.
The standard Find X7 is rumoured to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, a high-performance chipset crafted on a 4nm process and one that recently was part of Vivo’s X100 series.
A very recent Antutu listing of the device showed an extremely good overall score of 2,270,677.
Apart from that, anticipated features for both handsets include up to 6GB of LPDDR5T RAM, a generous 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and ColorOS 14 based on Android 14, ensuring a smooth and contemporary user experience.
The Find X7 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, indicating a significant leap in processing power and capabilities.
Both models are rumoured to feature a 120Hz display panel and top-of-the-line optical hardware.
