OPPO has confirmed the India launch date of its upcoming F35 series after releasing weeks of teasers. The company is highlighting the series’ selfie camera including its wider field of view and more natural-looking portraits. While OPPO has not yet revealed all the models or their complete specifications, several details have already surfaced through official teasers and leaks. Here’s more on what we know so far.
OPPO F35 Series Launching in India on October 5
The OPPO F35 series will launch in India on October 5. OPPO has confirmed that the lineup will feature a 50-megapixel ultra-wide front camera with a 100-degree field of view. The selfie camera will also support NaturalTone 2.0, which is designed to deliver more natural-looking skin tones.
The company has also teased the Pro model with 4K video recording using both the front and rear cameras.
The F35 series will succeed the F33 lineup in India and continues OPPO’s long-running focus on smartphone photography. The company’s F series first arrived in India with the OPPO F1 in 2016 focusing heavily on selfies before expanding into areas such as design, video recording and durability. With the F35 series, the wider front camera is once again one of the key features OPPO is using to differentiate its phones in the upper mid-range segment.

How Has the OPPO F Series Evolved Over 10 Years?
Over the past decade, OPPO’s F series has gradually expanded its focus beyond just selfie cameras. The OPPO F1 started the journey with a 16MP selfie camera and the “Selfie Expert” positioning, followed by the F3 with its dual selfie camera setup and the F7, which introduced AI-powered selfie features.
With the F27, OPPO shifted more attention towards durability with an IP69 rating, while the F33 continued the photography-focused approach with a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera.
The upcoming F35 series now looks set to build on this evolution with another 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera along with a wider 100-degree field of view.
OPPO F35 Expected Specifications
According to leaked information, the standard OPPO F35 could feature a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek 6360 chipset and could use a 4,300mm² VC cooling system for thermal management.
A major highlight could be its 8,000mAh battery, which is expected to support 80W fast charging. For photography, the leaked specifications suggest a 50-megapixel primary rear camera paired with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The front camera is expected to be a 50-megapixel ultra-wide unit.
The phone could also offer IP68, IP69, IP69K and IP66 ratings for water and dust resistance. It is reportedly expected to measure 8.8mm thick and weigh around 205 grams.
The F35 could be offered in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB configurations. Its expected price in India is between Rs 35,000 and Rs 40,000, while the colour options could include Wave Blue, Titanium Grey and Mist Pink.
The large battery will put the F35 in competition with other battery-focused smartphones. Realme P4 Power and Narzo Power are also targeting buyers with large batteries, while the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max has debuted with a 10,000mAh battery at a higher price point of around Rs 50,000.
OPPO F35 Pro Expected Specification
The OPPO F35 Pro is expected to offer more powerful hardware than the standard model. Leaks suggest that it could be powered by the MediaTek 7360 Max chipset and feature a larger 5,000mm² VC cooling system. Like the standard F35, the Pro model could pack an 8,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
The camera setup could also receive a significant upgrade. The F35 Pro is tipped to feature a 50-megapixel large-sensor primary camera with optical image stabilisation along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The front could again feature a 50-megapixel ultra-wide selfie camera with support for a Natural Tone feature.
For durability, the Pro model is expected to carry an IP69K rating and could also feature Rainstorm Touch functionality.
The leaked information suggests that the OPPO F35 Pro could be priced between Rs 45,000 and Rs 50,000 in India. However, details about its display, RAM and storage variants, dimensions and colour options have not yet surfaced in the leak.
With the Pro model expected to cross the Rs 40,000 price mark, its camera capabilities, charging performance and chipset will be important factors when compared with other battery- and camera-focused smartphones.
