OPPO has confirmed that the OPPO A7 Pro will launch in China on September 11. It will become the second smartphone in the company’s A7 series and will sit below the OPPO A7 Pro Max, which was recently introduced in the Chinese market. The brand has already launched a dedicated microsite for the smartphone, giving us a look at some of its key features and specifications. Here’s everything we know about the phone.
Oppo A7 Pro China Launch Date Confirmed
Oppo announced via an official post on Weibo that the OPPO A7 Pro will be launched in China on September 11 at 10 am local time, which is 7:30 am IST. The smartphone will be available to purchase through the Oppo China online store.
The smartphone has already been listed for pre-order on the Oppo China online store. It will be available in two configurations of 6GB RAM with 256GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
The Oppo A7 Pro will be offered in three colour options named Desert Brown, Every Step Blossom and Riding the Waves.
Oppo A7 Pro Key Specifications Revealed
Meanwhile, the dedicated Oppo A7 Pro microsite on the Oppo China website has also gone live and revealed more details about the upcoming smartphone. As per the teasers, the smartphone will feature an 8,000mAh battery, which Oppo claims can maintain its durability for up to seven years.
The Oppo A7 Pro will feature a flat OLED display and will come with a range of AI-powered tools. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will run ColorOS 16 out of the box based on Android 16 and come with an IP69K rating for protection against dust and water.
In terms of design, the Oppo A7 Pro will have a horizontal, pill-shaped camera module on the rear. The module will house a dual-camera setup along with an LED flash. On the front, the smartphone will use a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. The power button and volume controls will be located on the right side of the handset, while the left side will remain free of buttons.
Oppo is expected to reveal other details including the phone’s pricing during the launch event next week.
