The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset, which is an octa-core processor built using a 6nm manufacturing process and comes with a Mali-G57 GPU. The phone uses UFS 2.2 storage, which should provide decent app loading and file transfer speeds in this segment.
For gaming, Infinix claims the Hot 70 Pro 5G can deliver frame rates of up to 90fps in supported games, making the phone suitable for users who want a smoother gaming experience.
On the software front, the Hot 70 Pro 5G runs Android 16. Infinix promises three major Android OS updates along with five years of security updates.
The Hot 70 Pro 5G packs a 6,000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. According to Infinix, the phone can charge from zero to 50% in around 25 minutes, while a full charge takes approximately 63 minutes.
For photography, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G comes with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera, which the company describes as a flagship-grade sensor. The camera supports Live Photo Mode and also gets an AI Eraser feature that can remove unwanted objects from photos. For selfies and video calls, the phone has an 8-megapixel front camera.
The smartphone also gets IP68 dust and water resistance. Infinix has added speaker self-cleaning technology that uses low-frequency sound waves to help clear dust and moisture from the speaker openings. This could be particularly useful for users who frequently use their phones outdoors or in dusty and wet environments.
