After launching in China recently, OPPO appears to be preparing to take its latest A7 series smartphones to the global markets. Both OPPO A7 Pro and A7 Pro Max global variants have shown up on Geekbench 7 now, hinting at a possible global launch soon. Apart from measuring performance, the benchmarking results have also revealed RAM and Android versions of the global versions.
OPPO A7 Pro and A7 Pro Max Geekbench Details
As per the recent posts on X by tipster Anvin @ZionsAnvin, the OPPO A7 Pro 5G has been listed on Geekbench with the model number CPH2931, while the A7 Pro Max 5G carries the model number CPH2909. Both smartphones have previously appeared on certification databases including Thailand’s NBTC certification platform, indicating that an international launch could be getting closer.

According to the Geekbench listings, the OPPO A7 Pro with model number CPH2931 is powered by the MediaTek MT6835 chipset. Meanwhile, the A7 Pro Max with model number CPH2909 is listed with Qualcomm’s SM4850 platform.
Based on these chipset details, the A7 Pro is expected to use a Dimensity 6300-series processor, most likely the Dimensity 6360 Max. The A7 Pro Max, meanwhile, could be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5. Both smartphones have been tested with 8GB of RAM and are running Android 16. OPPO is expected to ship them with its ColorOS 16 interface on top of Android 16.
The Geekbench results also reveal a difference in performance between the two models. The OPPO A7 Pro scored 719 points in the single-core test and 2,074 points in the multi-core test. The A7 Pro Max achieved 834 points in single-core performance and 2,181 points in the multi-core test.

OPPO A7 Pro and A7 Pro Max – Expected Specifications
The Geekbench appearance also hints that the global versions of the two smartphones could retain the same specifications as their Chinese counterparts.

In China, the OPPO A7 Pro comes with a 6.57-inch OLED display featuring an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an 8,000mAh battery that supports 45W charging. It has a 50-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The OPPO A7 Pro Max, on the other hand, comes with a larger 6.78-inch FHD+ display and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone packs a huge 10,000mAh battery with support for 80W charging. Its rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary camera, while selfies are handled by a 50-megapixel front camera.
Since both global models have now appeared on Geekbench and received certifications such as NBTC, we can expect OPPO to reveal more details about the global availability soon.
