After launching the rugged Oppo A5 Pro 5G with top-tier IP66, IP68 and IP69 durability ratings, Oppo is now getting ready to bring the standard Oppo A5 5G to India. A new report from Smartprix has revealed all the key specs and pricing details of the upcoming phone. Here’s what we know so far.
According Smartprix report, the Oppo A5 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. It is the same 6nm processor used in the Pro version as well. It’ll feature a 6.67-inch display with a punch-hole cutout. While the resolution hasn’t been officially confirmed, it’s expected to be 720p.
In terms of memory, the base variant will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. But the real highlight of this phone is its battery, Oppo is packing in a massive 6,000mAh unit, which is even bigger than the 5,800mAh battery on the Pro model.
When it comes to cameras, the phone will likely feature a 50MP main rear sensor, a 2MP secondary lens, and an 8MP front camera for selfies.

Meanwhile, a live image shared in the Smartprix report also confirms the punch-hole screen and these key specifications.
