Global technology brand OnePlus today announced the date for its next launch event, confirming that it will reveal OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G and OnePlus Nord Buds 2 on 4 April at an event called ‘Larger than life – A OnePlus Nord Launch Event’.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G combines OnePlus’ signature ‘Fast and Smooth Experience’ with a design built to stand out from the crowd, including the fresh new Pastel Lime colour and simple yet charming two-circle camera layout.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G also follows on from the success of its predecessors and will pack elevated key features into an affordable package. ‘Larger than life – A OnePlus Nord Launch Event’ will be an online launch event on 4 April 7:00PM IST, 2023.

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite will come as a successor to the Nord CE 2 Lite from last year, which went on to become one of the best sellers for OnePlus in that segment.
The teaser video posted by OnePlus on their Twitter handle reveals the entire design of the phone and a brand new Lime colour option, which it is calling Pastel Lime. While the Nord Buds 2 look quite identical to its predecessor.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite and the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will debut in India on April 4th at 7 PM IST. Like the other OnePlus products, they should be on sale via Amazon and the OnePlus website.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G complete specifications are not available but some details have surfaced online. The handset is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor, which will enable 5G network support.
The SoC will be supported by 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Running the show is Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 skin out of the box.
The phone will feature a 120Hz refresh rate and an IPS LCD panel. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. As for the cameras, the Nord CE 3 Lite will have a 64MP primary sensor and a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies.
As for the Nord Buds 2, the design is quite identical to the predecessor but we can speculate the internal specifications and features will see moderate improvements and upgrades.
OnePlus is offering early bird benefits for those buying the Nord CE 3 Lite. These include a free OnePlus product (can be anything and this is a limited-time offer), an extended warranty at a discounted price and an instant discount with select bank cards.
Buyers get 2 months of YouTube Premium subscription and an additional exchange discount. There is a dedicated microsite the OnePlus website but that doesn’t reveal any key specifications.
The TWS will offer an in-ear design and will have a 41mAh battery. The case, on the other hand, will pack in a 480mAh battery and will have a USB Type-C charging port.
As far as the charging speeds are concerned, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will offer up to 4.5W charging. The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will offer Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
The case will measure 22.27 x 9.29 x 0.11 mm.
The FCC certification schematics also reveal the model number of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 once again, and the same model number has also been spotted on the Indian BIS certification website.
If the brand’s previous trends are anything to go by, we can expect the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 to be a rebadged version of the OnePlus Buds Ace, which launched a little while ago in China, alongside the OnePlus Ace 2.
