OnePlus has already announced that the OnePlus Ace 6T will launch in China later this month. And now company president Louis Li has offered an early look at what to expect. While he didn’t reveal every detail, his latest Weibo posts confirm that the Ace 6T is built as a high-performance option in the lineup. Li has also confirmed design details and revealed that it will also arrive with a special edition. Here’s everything we know based on recent reveals.
Li revealed that the OnePlus Ace 6T is aimed at users who want flagship-level performance without paying flagship prices. He confirmed that the device will debut Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset on the global stage, promising major improvements in both speed and power efficiency.
The phone will also come with a battery that “starts with an 8,” meaning it will pack an 8,000mAh+ unit, along with support for 100W fast charging.
Gaming is clearly a central focus of the Ace 6T. According to Li, the device includes a new internal gaming engine capable of pushing gameplay up to 165 frames per second, paired with a 165Hz refresh rate display. It will also feature an esports-driven triple-chip architecture and support 144fps mode in Honor of Kings.
Additional gaming-centric features include bypass charging to reduce heat during long sessions and the same high-precision gyroscope used in the OnePlus 15 for improved motion accuracy.
The OnePlus Ace 6T aims to stand out with strong protection ratings. Li confirmed IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications, indicating robust resistance against dust, water, and high-pressure jets.
To keep temperatures in check, OnePlus is introducing a new Glacier cooling system, which the company claims is the largest heat-dissipation structure they have ever designed.
The phone will also offer an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor and a Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayaka special edition.
OnePlus has also confirmed three colour options, which include Flash Black, Phantom Green, and Electric Purple. The handset will feature smaller, less protruding metal cube camera deco, large flat display with ultra-thin bezels and shortcut key in place of the alert slider. The teasers also reveal silk glass and fibreglass finish with a metal frame and an IR blaster on the top.
Revealed more about the weight, in-hand feel and texture of the phone, OnePlus China head Louis Jie writes on Weibo, “First, weight balance. Most phones, once fitted with an 8-series battery, tend to be top-heavy. We optimised the internal stacking to achieve a 50:50 golden weight distribution, ensuring a balanced feel whether playing games in landscape mode or watching videos in portrait mode. Second, palm fit. The Ace 6T features a specially designed “micro-arc metal frame,” a curve that you’ll “fall in love with the moment you hold it,” visually sleek and more comfortable to hold.”
“Third, texture. The Ace 6T uses two materials this time. “Flash Black” and “Phantom Green” continue the flagship silk glass process, offering a delicate feel and resisting fingerprints. Let me highlight “Electric Purple.” We used the same fiberglass material as top-tier Android flagships, with a more refined process. Especially when rotated under light, the subtle sheen is truly luxurious,” Li adds
In addition, well-known tipster Evan Blass has shared official renders of the Ace 6T, showcasing a flat front display, a dual-camera setup at the back, and a Plus key on the left side. According to leaks, the phone will be available in green and purple colour variants.
