The Oneplus Ace 2 starts from CNY 2799 (approx Rs 34,000) for the variant with 12GB
RAM and 256GB internal storage. The 16GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB versions are priced at CNY 3099 (approx. Rs 37,800) and CNY 3499 (approx. Rs 42,600), respectively.

Going by the China prices, it seems the OnePlus 11R will be priced around Rs 40,000 and upwards in India factoring in taxes.

However, it is tipped that the India variant will come with 8GB of RAM for the base model instead of 12GB. The 8GB RAM variant is tipped to be priced below Rs 40,000, whereas the 16GB + 256GB storage option could be priced below Rs 45,000 in India.

We are only a few hours away from the launch. Therefore, the wait for the official India pricing is not going to be a long one.

The phone has been launched in Silver and Black colour options.

Oneplus Ace 2 Specifications, Features

Oneplus Ace 2 looks similar to the OnePlus 11 on a design level. It gets a similar rear camera module as the flagship phone but minus the Hasselblad branding.

The display is nearly edge-to-edge with a punch-hole camera on the top centre. The device gets the iconic Alert Slider but does not come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset measures 8.7mm in thickness and weighs 204 grams.

On the hardware side of things, the Oneplus Ace 2 features a 6.74-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED screen supported up to 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a 1.5K resolution with curved edges and a hole-punch cutout.

It also offers 2160Hz PWM Dimming and 1450 nits of peak brightness. The phone has a black hole-inspired aesthetic design that achieves a balance of power and beauty, and the company says that it has put effort into the details.

The particle design on the edge of the lens is like a time tunnel; the connecting part between the camera and the frame is a flowing K-shaped light and shadow.

The back glass has a silky feel and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone still has the three-stage slider.

Powering the handset is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 5G chipset with 5177mm² eight-channel heat dissipation VC cooling. The company said that it took 2 years to design and is an exclusive black technology with the best heat conduction effect in the industry, which offers twice the heat conduction capacity of liquid-cooled VC. paired with up to 16GB RAM. The phone comes with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The Ace 2 has 12 high-performance e-sports antennas + LinkBoost4.0 network optimization, which promise stable and reliable performance. It has upgraded game frame stabilization engine 2.0, which optimizes the game screen in milliseconds, so that almost all mobile games run at high frame rate, says OnePlus. The super-frame super-picture engine integrates a hardware chip, game engines, and software algorithms, so 100+ games that everyone often plays has a full 120 frames, according to the company.

Coming to the cameras, the Oneplus Ace 2 gets a triple rear camera system that includes a 50MP IMX890 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. At the front, the phone gets a 16MP sensor for selfies.

The rear camera can support 4K video recording at 30fps which promises to be shake-free thanks to EIS and OIS support as well.

The Oneplus Ace 2 packs a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, much like the OnePlus 11.

It has 100W SUPERVOOC charging that can charge the phone’s 5000mAh battery from from 1% to 100% in 25 minutes. 

The charging speed is comparable to the 120W dual-cell solution of competitors, says OnePlus.
