OnePlus is all set to unveil the OnePlus 15T in China on March 24. But just days before the official launch, nearly all key details about the device have surfaced online. From official teasers focusing on connectivity to a premature listing on China Telecom, the compact flagship’s specifications, design and hardware are now largely out in the open. There is also a report hinting that the smartphone might have already received the BIS certificate in India as the OnePlus 15s. Anyhow, here’s a complete look at everything revealed so far.
In its latest teasers shared on Weibo, OnePlus has highlighted a 360° surround antenna system combined with an “anti-blockage” design. The aim is to deliver a stronger and more stable signal reception regardless of how the phone is held. While not a flashy feature, it could make a real difference in areas with weak network coverage.
The company has also confirmed the inclusion of a dedicated G2 e-sports network chip, borrowed from its flagship lineup. This chip is designed to improve Wi-Fi stability, reduce latency, and prioritise gaming traffic when needed.
It works alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a touch-response chip, forming what OnePlus calls an “Esports Tri-Core” system. While largely a branding term, the setup is intended to ensure smoother gaming performance with minimal interruptions.
Notably, OnePlus is positioning these upgrades beyond gaming. The enhancements are expected to improve everyday usage as well, offering faster downloads, stable browsing and fewer signal drops. While similar features have been seen in gaming-centric smartphones, it’s notable to see them integrated into a compact flagship device.
A listing on China Telecom has revealed that the OnePlus 15T will feature a 6.32-inch LTPS OLED flat display with a resolution of 2640 x 1216 pixels. The company has already confirmed support for a 165Hz refresh rate and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will run on Android 16 and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, identified as SM8850 in the listing.
The device will be available in multiple configurations including 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB, with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
In terms of battery, the OnePlus 15T is said to pack a 7,500mAh unit. The company has already confirmed support for 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and bypass charging to manage heat during extended usage.
For cameras, the device features a 16-megapixel front sensor. On the rear, it houses a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. The primary sensor is expected to be the Sony IMX906, while the 3.5x periscope lens could use the Samsung JN5 sensor. Similar to its predecessor, the phone does not include an ultra-wide camera.
The listing also reveals that the phone measures 150.56 x 71.82 x 8.48mm and weighs 194 grams. It features a glass fibre back with a metal frame. OnePlus has confirmed multiple durability ratings, including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K for dust and water resistance.
Colour options will include Pure Cocoa, Healing White Chocolate, and Relaxed Matcha.
The OnePlus 15T retains the same 6.32-inch screen size as its predecessor, the OnePlus 13T. However, according to post by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the company has switched from an LTPO panel used in the earlier model to an LTPS panel this time. While LTPS displays are more cost-effective, they are generally less power-efficient than LTPO panels.
On the positive side, the new display offers a 1.5K resolution, ultra-slim 1.1mm bezels, and a higher 165Hz refresh rate. It is an upgrade over the 120Hz panel on the previous generation.
There are growing rumours that the OnePlus 15T may launch in global markets including India under a different name, likely the OnePlus 15s.
In a recent development, a new OnePlus smartphone has reportedly received certification from India’s BIS. Although there is no confirmed link yet, it is speculated that this device could be the OnePlus 15s. Recently, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore @Sudhanshu1414 shared details on X, revealing a model number CPH2943 listed in the BIS database.
However, it remains unclear whether this certification is tied to the OnePlus 15s or another upcoming device.
