It has already been confirmed that the OnePlus 15R will debut in India on December 17, alongside the OnePlus Pad Go 2. Ahead of the official announcement, fresh leaks are shedding light on its pricing and key specifications. Slotted below the flagship OnePlus 15, the new 15R model is expected to continue OnePlus’ strategy of offering near-flagship performance at a relatively lower price.
However, the latest leak suggests that the OnePlus 15R may arrive at a higher price point than many had anticipated.
According to tipster Paras Guglani @passionategeekz on X, the OnePlus 15R could be priced between Rs 47,000 and Rs 49,000 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The top-end 12GB + 512GB model is said to cross Rs 52,000. With bank offers, buyers may get an additional discount of around Rs 3,000–Rs 4,000, potentially bringing the effective starting price close to Rs 44,000 for eligible card users.
The OnePlus Ace 6T, the China-exclusive model on which the 15R is reportedly based, starts at roughly Rs 33,000 in China. While taxes and market positioning increase the Indian pricing, the 15R is still expected to undercut the OnePlus 15, which starts at Rs 72,999.

The OnePlus 15R is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, placing it firmly in the flagship performance category. Benchmark listings also suggest a 12GB RAM configuration. OnePlus has already teased a 165Hz refresh rate, matching the display refresh rate of the flagship OnePlus 15. If it mirrors the Ace 6T, the phone could feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with high peak brightness and improved eye-comfort optimisations.
Design-wise, the OnePlus 15R is confirmed to launch in Charcoal Black and Minty Green colour options. It is said to feature a square camera module, flat-edge frame, and impressive IP66–IP69K dust and water resistance ratings, making it one of the most rugged smartphones in OnePlus’ current lineup.
On the camera front, the device is expected to feature a 50MP primary sensor alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera, while the front could house a 16MP selfie shooter. There is also speculation around support for 4K video recording at up to 120fps.
Battery capacity is expected to be one of the biggest highlights. The OnePlus 15R is tipped to pack a massive 7,400mAh battery, making it the largest battery ever seen on a OnePlus smartphone. While charging details are yet to be officially confirmed, the Ace 6T supports 100W fast charging and similar speeds are anticipated.
