OnePlus has once again increased the prices of the flagship OnePlus 15 and the budget-focused OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite in India. The latest revision raises prices by as much as Rs 8,000 and are already reflected on the OnePlus website.

OnePlus has not officially commented on the latest increase. However, the move comes amid rising component costs and evolving market strategies across the smartphone industry. The revised pricing significantly alters the value proposition of both devices compared to their original launch prices. Here are more details.

OnePlus 15 Price Increased by Up to Rs 8,000

OnePlus 15 new prices are now updated on official store.

OnePlus 15 was initially launched as a relatively affordable premium Android option. It has now moved deeper into the premium segment.

Although the device is currently out of stock on most platforms, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is now listed at Rs 85,999 up from its previous price of Rs 77,999. The 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model has also become more expensive, rising from Rs 85,999 to Rs 93,999.

At launch, the 12GB + 256GB version was priced at Rs 72,999, while the higher-end variant debuted at Rs 79,999.

OnePlus is currently offering an instant discount of Rs 3,000 on the smartphone although the duration of the offer remains unclear.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite Also Becomes Costlier

OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite new prices are now updated on official store.

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite has also received a substantial price increase. The entry-level 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, which originally launched at Rs 20,999, is now priced at Rs 25,999. Meanwhile, the 8GB + 128GB model now costs Rs 27,999, while the top-end 8GB + 256GB version is listed at Rs 30,999.

OnePlus is currently providing an instant discount of Rs 1,500 on the Nord CE 6 Lite.

OnePlus recently confirmed that its upcoming budget-focused OnePlus N6 will launch in India on June 30. Early reports had suggested a price below Rs 20,000 but it could also be closer to Rs 25,000. The revised pricing of the Nord CE 6 Lite could potentially create space for the new model within OnePlus’ product lineup.

What This Means For Buyers?

Despite the higher price, the OnePlus 15 continues to offer flagship-grade specifications. The device features the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a large 7,300mAh battery, 120W fast charging support, a 165Hz LTPO AMOLED display, and a triple 50MP rear camera setup.

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite, on the other hand, targets budget-conscious users with a 7,000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex processor, and a 144Hz LCD display.

For buyers considering the OnePlus 15, the smartphone still remains competitive in terms of hardware and features. But the new pricing makes comparisons with competing flagship models more important than before. The device is now priced similarly to the OPPO Find X9, which is often considered a strong choice for photography enthusiasts thanks to its Hasselblad camera tuning, while the Xiaomi 17 is another alternative in the same segment.

As for prospective Nord CE 6 Lite buyers, waiting for the launch of the OnePlus N6 may be worth considering before making a purchase decision.

Meanwhile, tipster Sanju Choudhary on X has suggested that consumers should not expect major discounts during upcoming festive sales.
