There are some new leaked renders currently on the market that suggest that OnePlus may change the design for its next flagship smartphone—the OnePlus 13.
These renders suggest a change from the usual circular/oval-shaped camera module designs of OnePlus.
Instead of the usual camera hump, the leaked render of the alleged OnePlus 13 reveals a rectangular/squircle-shaped camera island on the back of the phone.
That is quite contrary to the expectations and leakage of the design of the phone.
The rectangular camera module is home to a triple camera setup and a ring-shaped LED flash.
In the middle is a Hasselblad branding which means improved camera capabilities, although it was rumoured earlier that OnePlus was moving away from this collaboration.
The right side frame sports the power and volume buttons, the left probably housing OnePlus’ signature alert slider switch.
The edges appear to be slightly curved compared to previous OnePlus designs.
There are four holes on the camera island, but three probably are camera holes with only one being for the LED flash.
The absence of OnePlus’ logo on the back suggests this may be just an early design prototype.
A leak from an earlier source showed a vertical camera bump with a larger protruding lens surrounded by a green ring on the OnePlus 13, but this newest leak shows a smaller protruding lens.
Speculated specs include a 6.8-inch 2K OLED LTPO display, in-display fingerprint scanner, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
Still, these details from leaked information should be taken lightly with caution because they are based on unconfirmed sources and may be changed before the official release.

The leaked renders of the OnePlus 13 show a shift from the traditional circular camera modules to a new rectangular or squircle-shaped camera island.
The new camera setup is rumoured to consist of a triple camera array with a ring-shaped LED flash, prominently featuring Hasselblad branding.
The OnePlus 13 is speculated to feature a 6.8-inch 2K OLED LTPO display, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
While the leaked renders provide intriguing details, they are based on unconfirmed sources and should be treated with caution as specifications could change prior to the official release.
The OnePlus 13 appears to have slightly curved edges, a new camera design, and potentially relocated control elements like the alert slider and power button compared to earlier models.
