The next OnePlus flagship, the OnePlus 13 series is all set to launch in the Chinese market on October 31 at 4:00 PM.
In the days leading up to the launch date, the company has been actively sharing teasers revealing key aspects of the upcoming flagship.
Here’s everything we know about the upcoming smartphone as of now.
Recent teasers released for the China launch confirm that the OnePlus 13 sports a second-generation 2K display with 120Hz refresh rate and touch-sensitive features like glove touch support, Rain Touch 2.0 and Lingxi Game Touch for a smooth gaming experience.
The Bright Eyes Eye Protection 2.0 reduces flicker and provides full-brightness DC dimming to ease eye strain. The display has certifications from Dolby Vision and DisplayMate A++, both ensuring optimum image quality, colour accuracy and overall display durability.
The OnePlus 13 series has been now confirmed to come with the Snapdragon 8 Ultimate Edition processor.
It will offer up to 24GB of RAM and a massive 1TB of storage. These hardware specs place the phone among the best flagships in the market.
As per a teaser, the OnePlus 13 will feature 4-microphone AI call noise reduction, ideal for gaming and karaoke.
It will also introduce Super Signal Engineering 2.0, which enhances Bluetooth, network and signal performance.
Users can benefit from High-Speed Rail/Subway Mode and Concert Mode, plus intelligent Wi-Fi and cellular switching, which helps maintain connectivity in closed areas.
It will offer Ultra-Linear Stereo Dual Speakers and OnePlus’s Self-Developed Audio 2.0 for rich sound, which promises to make music, movies and gaming a lot more immersive.
One of the teasers released by OnePlus also confirms that the phone will have a multi-functional infrared remote control support, full-area NFC and a USB 3.2 Gen1 port for faster data transfers.
The phone also is equipped with the second-generation Tiangong Cooling System Pro. It also integrates in-house tech, including the Tidal Engine, Aurora Engine and E-Sports Independent Graphics Engine, along with AI Acceleration for enhanced performance.
On the AnTuTu benchmarking, it scored a good 3,094,447 for its processing power.
As for the cameras, OnePlus marketing has already revealed that the phone will feature a triple rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.
This high-resolution setup is ideal for versatile photography and video.
Moreover, the phone will run on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 in China.
The OnePlus 13 will come with a massive 6,000mAh battery, one of the largest ever on a OnePlus smartphone. It will support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
With 100W SuperVOOC charging, the phone can charge from 0 to 100% in just 36 minutes.
The OnePlus 13 also supports the 100W UFCS (Universal Fast Charging Standard) for fast charging with compatible third-party adapters, and its SUPERVOOC S chip boosts battery efficiency to 99.5% for longer-lasting usage.
Lastly, the OnePlus 13 will be available in three colour options including White Dew Morning Light, Blues Hour, and Obsidian Secret Realm (Black).
Ahead of its launch in China on October 31, MySmartPrice has reported that the global variant of the OnePlus 13 was spotted on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification website.
The listing hints that a global release of the phone can be expected in the near future.
The smartphone was identified with the model number CPH2653 and also confirmed its official name. As of now, no specifications have been revealed for this upcoming flagship.
