Nothing has officially launched its latest true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, the Nothing Ear (Open), in India. This model was first introduced in global markets last year. It is only now that the London-based brand has confirmed its pricing and availability for the Indian market. Here’s everything you need to know about the newly launched audio accessory.
The Nothing Ear (Open) brings an open-ear design that doesn’t fully seal the ear canal, allowing users to remain aware of their surroundings while listening to music or taking calls. The earbuds feature a curved headband that securely wraps around the ear, offering both stability and comfort during extended use.
The Nothing Ear (Open) is being offered in a single White colour option with a matching oval-shaped charging case.
The earbuds are equipped with a custom diaphragm and large 14.2mm titanium-coated drivers. The company also includes a proprietary ‘Bass Enhance’ algorithm for deeper sound output.
For calls, Nothing has added AI-powered Clear Voice 3.0 technology, supported by two microphones on each earbud. This setup ensures clearer voice pickup and improved wind noise reduction.
On the connectivity front, the Nothing Ear (Open) supports Bluetooth 5.3 with AAC and SBC audio codecs, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, dual-device connection, and a 120ms low-latency mode for gaming and video streaming.
Battery life is another highlight. The earbuds provide 8 hours of playback per charge, while the case extends total usage to up to 30 hours. With fast charging support, a quick 10-minute charge delivers 2 hours of listening time.

One major drawback is that due to its open-ear design, the earbuds do not come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
The Nothing Ear (Open) is priced at Rs. 9,999 in India and is available exclusively via Flipkart as part of the Big Billion Days Sale. The company clarified in a community post that this is a “special price”, suggesting the cost may increase once the sale ends.
Interestingly, when the earbuds were initially introduced, they carried a global price tag of Rs. 17,999, but the brand did not release them in India at that time.
