Debuting on September 11, Nokia’s G42 5G is HMD Global’s newest addition to the 5G smartphone segment in India. Priced at Rs. 12,599 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, the device is set to hit the Amazon shelves on September 15.

Before making its mark in India, the G42 5G was introduced to select European markets in June, carrying a price tag of EUR 199, translating to roughly Rs. 21,000 for the same variant.

A 6.56-inch HD+ LCD screen welcomes users with 720 x 1,612-pixel resolution, a swift 90Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 560 nits of peak brightness. Additionally, the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection promises durability.
The handset also champions an IP52 rating, guaranteeing a certain level of resistance against dust and water.
