Finland-based HMD Global has finally launched Nokia G21. Despite being a successor of Nokia G20, the phone does not share any similarity with it.

Compared to the previous model, the newly launched Nokia G21 has rectangular shaped with rounded edges camera bump on the back while G20 has round-shaped camera bump on the back.

The Nokia G 21 will initially be available in European markets, however nothing has been confirmed on availability of the model in India.

Price and colors

The new phone by HMD costs EUR 170, which is around Rs 14,500. It comes in Nordic Blue and Dusk colours while the G20 model was available in two colors, namely, night and glacier.

Nokia G21 specifications

Having 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display is good for watching movies and shows. The Nokia G21 model offers 90Hz refresh rate on the display which is a new addition. Equipped with the Unisoc T606 processor inside the Nokia G21 must be powerful enough for everyday tasks and some gaming.

Memory and storage

Like G20 model, the Nokia G21 comes with 4GB of RAM and two storage options, 64GB and 128GB.  To expand the storage, there is a microSD card slot.

Camera

The new model has a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.  The G21 model offers features such as Super Resolution and Night Mode. The Nokia G20 model offered 8 megapixel front camera and 48 megapixel rear camera + 5 MP Ultrawide + 2 MP Macro + 2 MP Depth.

Battery and charging

The Nokia G21 has 5050mAh battery and support for 18W makes charging faster.
