NODWIN Gaming announces investment in gaming accessories brand Wings

Wings Lifestyle, a gaming accessories firm that produces and sells high-quality and affordable gaming audio gear, has announced a strategic investment by NODWIN Gaming. NODWIN is a significant subsidiary of Nazara Technologies Limited, the world’s leading esports company. NODWIN hopes to expand and increase its retail presence. It also expects to expedite its direct-to-consumer strategy for India’s gaming and esports fans with this partnership.

Under NODWIN Gaming’s umbrella and renowned esports organisations in India, the idea is to bring out a special line of gaming headphones based on popular Indian gaming and esports talents and influencers.

NODWIN Gaming X Brand Wings

Further discussing the upcoming plans and this great step, NODWIN Gaming’s Co-founder and Managing Director, Akshat Rathee says,  “Strategic investments like these enable us to achieve our vision of creating successful multi-dimensional gaming and esports strategy. We believe that Wings Lifestyle and NODWIN Gaming share multiple synergies; be it our influencers, our tournament IPs sponsorship, or our gamer community businesses. This investment will hopefully fill in the gap created by the huge demand for customised earbuds and headphones among the gaming and esports community. It will further solidify the brand NODWIN in our target audience post our recent acquisitions. We are delighted to bring Wings into the NODWIN Gaming ecosystem and look forward to together amping up the esports sector in India and across the world.”

Wings Lifestyle was created by Nishit Sharma in 2018, and Vijay Vekateswaran joined him as a co-founder in 2021. It has since grown to become a major earbuds brand with an emphasis on the mobile gaming industry. Moreover, all of its gaming accessories are under Rs. 2,000. These also include high-quality gaming earphones and neckbands, along with headphones, keyboards, soundbars, speakers, and a mouse on the way. Wings Lifestyle engages with gaming content providers, esports athletes, and tournament organisers as part of their 360-marketing approach. This also helps them to cover all the aspects of the gaming system easily and without any delay. Also,  Wings Lifestyle sells its products on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and their own official website.

Nishit Sharma and Vijay Venkateswaran, Co-founders pens down their enthusiasm and excitement in a note and say, “We feel very excited and honoured to partner with NODWIN Gaming in our mission towards creating quality gaming products for India’s youth. We built the company completely bootstrapped for the last 3 years and have successfully brought it to where it is today. We now feel it is the right time to get external funding and grow Wings to become a global gaming brand. NODWIN Gaming and Wings share a common vision of supporting and growing the gaming community and we couldn’t have asked for a better partner in this journey.”
