Netflix has rolled out a major update to its “Moments” feature on iOS. It now gives users more flexibility when clipping and sharing their favourite scenes from shows and movies.
Announcing the update in a post, Tudum staff writes, “Last year, Netflix introduced Moments, a mobile feature that lets you save, relive, and share unforgettable scenes like Wednesday Addams’s viral dance moves or the debut of Saja Boys’ iconic track “Soda Pop,” in KPop Demon Hunters, which now ranks as Netflix’s most popular moment. Whether you’re reliving the demon boy band’s entrance into the K-pop scene or replaying their hit song on loop, it’s clear fans love having a way to hold on to the scenes that stick — and now here are even more ways to make them your own.”
Here’s everything we know about the latest update.
Launched last year on mobile, Moments allows subscribers to save memorable scenes directly within the Netflix app. Until now, users could only choose a starting point for a clip. With the latest update, they can now set both a starting and an ending point, creating clips of any length they prefer.
To use the feature, start watching a movie or TV show, tap the screen, and hit the “Clip” button. Once saved, the scene will appear in the “My Netflix” tab for later viewing. Clips can also be shared on social media, where followers can click the post and jump straight to that exact moment in the Netflix app.

The update coincides with the release of Part 2 of Wednesday season 2. With Lady Gaga set to make a guest appearance, the launch of Moments alongside the popular series is expected to boost fan engagement and spark a wave of scene sharing across platforms.
The announcement post highlights this saying, “Today, alongside the release of Wednesday Season 2, Part 2, Netflix is rolling out an update that lets you set both a starting point and an end point when saving a scene — so you can turn your favorites into full clips to save, relive, and share anytime.”
Netflix says members have already used the Moments feature across thousands of titles, highlighting its growing popularity as a tool for interaction and discovery on the platform.
